haven’t watched pro wrestling in years, but – i remember as a kid in the early 70’s up through the 90’s loving it…only been to one show decades ago, it was a lot of fun…

It’s weird that no one born after like 1980 remembers what it was like to be largely limited to network TV for everything and the sitcom lineup was an essential part of life. Speaking of which, how many of you remember watching Lucha Libre on a grainy UHF channel 47?

We are going to need to sub-reddit for KB boomer nostalgia ( all three of us). I used to sleep on my grandfather’s couch in BK while he watched Bruno Sammartino and Haystacks Calhoun in pre-steriod rasslin, as well as Lucha Libre. Mil Mascaras.

Soap was a great sitcom in its day, ahead of its time, very meta.

I’m a sucker for a Chrissy-era episode of Three’s Company from time to time too.

This is fair, and sure, Ja’s shot is concerning. If I had to bet right now on who will be the better player in 5-6 years I’m going with Ja, even with injury concerns. But I am very happy right now to be in a position to root hard for RJ’s best outcome, he’s a great kid to root for in every way. My biggest worry about him is that he is going to be maxed after his rookie deal and might not be worth the money. But for now, how can you not love him?

Yeah, I’m thrilled with RJ, but it’s funny how we can’t be, “Wow, isn’t it great that RJ is playing so well?” before it’s “Yeah, RJ is better than Zion.”

A show that no one seems to have heard of but my wife and I loved was Crashing on HBO with Pete Holmes as a down and out comedian who in each episode crashes at a fellow comedian’s place (Artie Lange, Bill Burr, Sarah Silverman and others). Highly recommend.
