I figured best case scenario was we finished a couple games under .500 and got like the 8th seed. Out of 133 Knickervoters preseason only 3 deranged optimists thought we’d be over .500. I thought a reasonable guess was we’d win like 24/25 games and we’re probably going win ~`14 more than that.

It’s funny cause they’ve owned us the Knicks this season but living in Miami I follow them quite a bit and this season they have not looked impressive at all. At times I watch them even when Butler is playing and I ask myself how the hell did this team reach the NBA Finals last year.

Having said that yeah I’ll take a series vs Boston or Atlanta any day over the Heat.

You might be right, and could be a different story in a 7 game series if we can get home court advantage. Just feels they are better than their record and just have that extra gear to get to. That being said, we have found that gear ourselves recently.

Due to the upcoming west coast trip I highly doubt the Knicks can maintain the 4th seed but holding on to 5th would be awesome and give them a legitimate chance of winning a series. Plus most likely it would be against either Boston or Miami which is always fun.

Personally I would prefer to avoid Miami at all costs in the playoffs.
