Can someone explain Frank's high basketball IQ to me? He's really good man defender who's invisible off of the ball. Other than jumping the occasional screen he's shown nothing in the way of sniffing out plays before they happen. And I guess his refusal to shoot is smart given how poorly he does it but that's about the only sign of offensive intelligence. Frank seems like a bright kid but basketball IQ is a lot different than standard IQ. Jeremy Lin went to Harvard and I'd say his basketball IQ was definitely on the low side.

That said, if Smith ever developed a jumpshot, he’d be an All Star. If Frank developed one, he’d be a solid starter. Guys like Smith only get drafted on the off chance that they will, in fact, develop a jumpshot. If they do, they are stars.

I can agree with that, but i would still be undecided which one i would prefer, because the All Star you're talking about it's D'Angelo Russell, only offense and zero defense.

DSJr with a jumpshot is a pretty valuable lead guard.

Frank with a jumpshot is a solid 3&D player.

Right or wrong, PGs who can score and pass, even while playing crap defense, have more value in the league.

i’m a pretty reasonable person….. i have no idea what grudge you’re holding but you;ve been a humongous prick…. and EVEN STILL… i would drop it again if i had assurances that you could handle yourself in an adult manner….

i know that it’s hard to drop the hot takes for a minute… but take some time to think about that….

I don't feel like a victim at all, so don't get where you came up with that. As I said, every day is a new day. In the last 2 days you have referred to me as an asshole, a dick and a humongous prick. Sounds like you're the one having a hard time with moving on.

Maybe strat can be a role model for you...he gets bashed more than anyone here, but always starts every day with a clean slate.

There’s one problem in defending DSJ and Frank are on the same (bad) level of development. Let’s say both learn how to shoot the basket, now what? One would still be a one-way player and the other would be a two-way player, which one do you prefer?

And by the way, i don't defend Frank for being picked by the Knicks, it's just that denying he does one part of the game well and DSJ does no part well, it's confusing to me. We picked Knox and i don't defend him, at least for now he's bad and there's no denying it.
