Re: Austin Brown – I have no clue about him of course, and would much rather have Masai, Presti, More, Hinkie, etc. That said, in general I am bullish on at least the idea of an agent. These are guys who presumably have deep relationships around the league, and more importantly, a very deep knowledge of the intricacies of the CBA, contract law, and in valuation of players. They’re also supposed to be strong negotiators. Those are good starting points for a new era in Knicks basketball.

People clowned on him a lot, but he did make some fine decisions the past offseason. Bob Myers was also an agent and he has been pretty damn great.
