On the other hand our lottery odds are improving greatly in the last week.

To me, the main culprits (hero's) in losing are Kanter, Mudiay and TH2...on defense.

Offense really isn't the problem. Even in a modern NBA giving up 130 is a big number.

Tim Hardaway is the tank commander. He is progeny of a former Knick torturer sent to continue to wreak havoc on our bottom line, both on the court and the cap sheet. He will need to accept a bench role one day and may excel in that role. Lieutenants Kanter and Mudiay will ensure that the Titanic is hit with the ice berg and then go down with the ship.

In reply to The Glass Half Rebuilt.

Anyone see Simmons’ trade value primer on the ringer? He’s amusingly high on Knox. Meaningless, of course, but still interesting.

His trade value column used to be so well-thought out. He stopped doing it for a long time and decided to bring it back in the most half-assed way possible. I love how he has Anthony Davis listed in "Will never be traded," except, well, you know...

But yes, it was nice to see Knox get a little love! Porzingis was in the top 20, which is a good thing, too, I guess!

It is really unbelievable sometimes.... the first minute Frank was in the game he attacked the rim mercilessly and scored easily and never tried it again the entire game. It is almost like Fiz should stand on the sidelines with a cattle prod and hit him in the ass with it every time down the floor. The guy plays like he ate a couple of Tuinals with his pre game meal.....

Clearly he is a system player searching for a system. He probably never played 3 on 3 his entire life.

Kevin Knox has been playing some pretty encouraging basketball as of recent, and Tim had a decent game last night too. I’m hoping we can trade the two of them to Portland for Damian Lillard after the draft.

Noah Vonleh had 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 blocks in 36 minutes. I really hope we re-sign him in the off season. Mudiay’s been upping his stock but he’s a very slight regression away from becoming useless again, so I don’t care what happens with him either way. If he’s good, give him some money, and if he’s the Mudiay we saw last night, let him walk.

In a cherry-picked 6 game sample that has no utility other than to make Kevin Knox look as good as possible, he's averaging 19.7-6.7 (nothing else really) and shooting 43% from 3 (.532% TS). Still not good per se, but would be very encouraging for a teenage rookie if he could keep it up. Safe to say I won't be holding my breath but it's been nice to see him look like an NBA player.

Mudiay is terrible and this team would be infinitely more fun if he was De'Anthony Melton instead.

Well, by the 4th quarter it's hard to watch. Watching Frank is like rubbernecking at the scene of an accident right now. OY! Thing about PHO is that their couple of young players are starting to show chemistry. We're much more in a sorting process. They have their identity. And they have better lottery odds! So, that's awesome...

Knox played pretty well though? No?
