Kornet's g-league stats:

In hitting nearly 50% of his 3's this season (while averaging 18 pt, 8.9 reb, 3.4 ast, and 2.6 bl), I think he's earned a longer look in the not too distant future.

Speaking of injuries, are we even sure that Burke is actually returning any time soon? He suffered a pretty major MCL sprain. Why are they seemingly so confident in him missing just a week?

I think their lack of bigs actually does make Baker being the odd man out more likely.

There would have to be a whole lot of injuries before Baker got to play. I can almost hear Fiz now, "Okay, okay, Ron, at least, yes, he is in the dungeon."

I was thinking about who's getting cut for Trier. The obvious choice is Kornet right? I'd rather it be Baker because he's part of a surplus but doesn't play. Kornet could be useful, but he's done himself in by not showing up in super great shape. Now he's far from a Dirk, but Fiz could use him in a similar manner. Having a big that can shoot running off of screens and whatnot could be extremely dangerous for defenses especially when we have a big like Vonleh who moves well enough to help with spacing and still gobbles up rebounds and plays defense. Then when defenses try to put a smaller guy on Kornet, you send him in the post. I can see where that could have worked out for him. Granted, he wasn't gonna play big minutes, but we kinda do need another center. As much as I appreciate Baker's defensive hustle, we should cut ties with him. Who knows, with all the guards we have, when we are gonna be able to move Lee and for what kind of return
