I remember thinking that the Pistons were nuts to trade for Blake, but he’s really playing at a high level. Maybe not #1 option material, but definitely way better than I thought.

That is both interesting and scary. I hope that doesn’t happen to Robinson. You’d think a player could learn not to foul. The question is can Robinson do that and still stay effective. Other players have done, but Butler is certainly a counter example.

It was another 20 year old center. An exciting find at the time. I remember having high hopes for him. But, sadly, he didn’t stick around long and was ultimately out of the league by 22.

It is pretty unbelievable that Trier went undrafted. Even more hard to believe that a PED suspension was potentially the cause for teams steering clear, when the NBA has a rich history of drafting/giving contracts to sex offenders.

Had they not traded their pick to Denver back in 2002 (that Denver used to draft Nene), the Knicks were going to pass up Nene and Amare Stoudemire to take Chris Wilcox. Soo…yeah, that is a very likely possibility (to be fair, the Clippers then did pick Wilcox #8 ahead of STAT at #9, so other teams were dumb, too).

Well the front office made up for it by trading Malik Rose for him in 09. Further proof that everything works out in the end.
