I have an enormous silicone reusable straw that makes me guzzle water like it’s a firehose. Better function, zero waste. Love it. Highly recommended, especially compared to those reusable integrated-straw suction-action cups that make you work for it.

Yes, it’s true fascism doesn’t have a large base of popular support in Britain. The Corbyn left has taken over the popular agenda and every establishment force from the centre to the far right are aligning to oppose his policies. But the Leave Means Leave movement wields enormous influence, despite their views being minority ones. Farage became its VP upon realizing he could be more influential pushing the Tories right via their lobbying and media platforms than as a UKIP politician. It’s like how in the US, where despite the fact most Americans prefer some sort of public health care option, no major party will endorse it because of a well-funded and connected lobby incentivizes elected politicians in both parties to support further privatization. Brexit is being used as their cause celebre to cram down all kinds of nasty proto-fascist policies down the British public’s throats.

I don’t care what you all think about this: if I ever meet Nigel Farage, I’m going to slap him in the face.
