OMG please stop. Nobody gives a shit about what you saw your friends do. Ask your gay friends what it was like growing up and try to find a single one who was not harassed without mercy. If you have gay friends that is.

I was teased relentlessly as a kid also. It sucked for me too, but I got through it, learned from it, it made me a better and stronger person, and I’m over it. Obviously, I’m not condoning it, but it’s part of life and imo kids have to toughen up while we are teaching them why it’s wrong.

Previously, I said most people understand where the line is and have fun within bounds based on the company. That was a line no one I was friends with crossed and we are going back decades – before people were as educated. Like I said previously, there are scumbags out there that go too far. But imo it’s a bad idea to never joke or have fun again.

Fox has been very, very impressive. I don’t think he’ll ever be a super efficient scorer but he could be a highly effective PG with a .550 or .560 ts%, good assist numbers and solid defense. He looks like he belongs.

Like so many of these guys, they just have to be kind of sort of efficient and they become studs. I was willing to bet that Fox would get there when he was a college player, but there were points in his rookie season where I thought it might never come. That, though, is the bizarre thing about so many of these point guard prospects. They need to sort of spontaneously develop efficiency. And a lot of them do. But a lot of them don’t. It makes them very difficult to project.

I love looking at the early season per game leaders. You get some bizarre stuff, like Kemba Walker leading the NBA in PPG and JJ Barea being tied for the lead league in Assists Per Game.

OKC just lost to the Kings and are 0-3 for the season. I wonder what’s going on there.

Roberson is absurdly (almost inconceivably) important to their chances of being a good team. That said, even without him, there is no reason that they should be losing to Sacramento.

By the way, Fox has started the season well. If he could just score efficiently, he’s going to be a very good player.
