Who care that Robinson can’t shoot 3’s? There will be plenty of shots for Knox, THJr, Trier and Burke when teams have to concentrate on keeping Robinson and Kanter from causing havoc on the offensive boards.

It’s not just the threes though– both Kanter and Robinson have no offensive game to speak of if they’re not right near the basket. So you’re kind of playing 4 on 5 if you have two guys out there who are no threat to make even a ten-foot jumper. I think Robinson’s jumper has some potential, the form on it does not look terrible. But right now he really needs to be near the basket to be able to score.

The problem with playing Robinson and Kanter together is that neither can score outside of the paint. And then you’d have Knox guarding threes, which won’t go well.

And if you like the 4 factors…. incredible eFG, O and D rebounding means something……Kanter has to play big minutes on this roster so you might as well play him with someone that partially masks his flaws, is a terrific natural shot blocker, lob catcher and rebounder.
