Why do the people that like Frank hate Knox so much?? The Knicks to me seem like they really like their development staff so want to take players they can mold(maybe wrongly.....). Knox is clearly one of the youngest rawest players in this draft, a lot of people are comparing him to tobais harris which isn't bad value at 9. We all know we are not going to be good next year so let's take the biggest gamble and get a top three pick next year.

From 07.20.17 when the Slovenian NT camp started Luka is in perpetuum gamile state - playing around 95 games( 9(prep games), 9 EuroC , cca. 75 Madrid. Did heavy lifting for all of those teams. He hit a minor wall in february and is still in it. But the guy just goes on and on. His TS% for the season at Real is 0.590 and slightly dropping cos his legs are shot...but he still manages to be the best man on the team. Don't know about his ceiling but the floor is the highest sure bet thing there ever was from Europe ( there are worlds where he's bust in the NBA but the commencement of those worlds has to be some mixture of Woodsonism/Dali/Flat Earth stringing.)
And that Givony thing was also heavily debated on the blogs over here in exactly the same manner and development as here.
All I say is...why did he have to explain it.?Without explanation it could help our chances getting the Don.

According to Woj we hired another assistant coach, Canales is young and worked years with Carlisle.

I like the mix of the new coaching staff, they’ll have a lot of work to do, let’s see how it shapes out...

Sorry Givony, your sarcasm wasn’t clear :-D

The Knicks seem to have a good scouting department, but management's taste in players matters too. I was happy with Phil's drafting because he picked players who can defend and who had upside. I have no faith in the new management's taste in the types of players they like. So this draft is a nerve wracking experience, especially since a lot of the top prospect this year seem to be centers and/or players who are all offense or mainly touted for their athleticism or thei.their potential.

my guess is that they're not too enamored with either bridges.... and it seems like they are set on a SF... good news is that they seem to like carter....

i try not to get too caught up in rumors... but this whole knox deal is very worrisome and i'm echoing givony's cry.... taking knox would be ignoring a whole college season's worth of production in favor of empty gym workouts...

it would be on the level of the frederick weis draft.... only less obvious to casual draft followers....

I'm still confused as to who they're passing up on to take Knox in this scenario. Carter? Porter? Bridges?

I apologize for misreading the tweet, Givony! :) Although, to be fair, if you issue an explanatory second tweet, you probably didn't get the point across very well on the first tweet. ;)
