Yeah, that's the point.

If we had Eric Gordon or Ryan Anderson getting the type of looks Beasley, Jack, Lance or Lee get they would shoot like 14 threes every game. Those players, and KP to some extent, simply refuse to take 3s sometimes and the coach's gameplan is not focused on creating such opportunities.

Breen has been talking for like 5 games about how Hornacek wants Lee to shoot more threes, for example. If we had an offense based on guys who can get to the rim or great post players that would be understandable, but that's obviously not the case.

over 80% of 3s are assisted… you can’t just jack up 3point shots… you need folks who are willing and able to shoot them and folks who can get them those shots…. we don’t have either…..

You can definitely jack up 3 point shots. I can do that, I just don't make very many. It's not a question of what the ideal shot is, it's a question of whether jacking up 3 pointers is better than what we normally do. I don't have any of the numbers, but why the hell not try it when our offense is doo doo.

How many times have we watched guys like Lee, Beasley or Jack for example dribbling inside the line to shoot a long 2 when they had a 3?

Exactly!
The Knicks need to make it a point to chuck up a minimum of 5 threes every quarter. 10 would be better. The Knicks are dead last in 3pt attempts per game in the NBA (22.0) and shoot 36%. Note that the Rockets top the NBA (42.2) and shoot 37%

not quite sure what the heck is going on with my NBA app - but, still about seven and a half minutes in the game for me...

not an absolutely horrendous effort by the guys, just inconsistent - and, watching kp complain about calls without getting back on defense is becoming a thing...

horny is starting to do weird stuff with his rotations again - why no kanter?

just saw beasley's numbers...having another good game...guess that's why no kanter...

someone mentioned earlier today about kp being more active on offense...he really doesn't do such a great job of making it in to the post...he keeps setting up about 2 or 3 feet inside the arc...

for better or worse - seems like it's time for frank to start...
