CBS Sports: 2019 NBA Draft: New York Knicks select Duke’s RJ Barrett with No. 3 overall pick

By Kyle Boone

The New York Knicks have selected Duke one-and-done star RJ Barrett with the No. 3 overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft.

As a freshman last season, Barrett led the Blue Devils in scoring and set a new ACC freshman scoring record with 860 total points while averaging 22.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.

Barrett had long been linked to the Knicks when the lottery was sorted out in May, so Barrett falling to No. 3 was not a surprise. Initially, his teammate, Zion Williamson, was considered to be the target for New York going into the lottery, but they wound up at No. 3 despite the best lottery odds and with the other Duke star from last year’s 32-win team as a result.

Don’t let the circumstances fool you, though: he is more than a consolation. Coming out of high school, Barrett was ranked as the No. 1 overall recruit and entered 2018-19 as the preseason favorite to be drafted first overall in 2019. He has a pedigree that includes being a McDonald’s All-American, a consensus First Team All-American, Mr. Basketball USA, the Gatorade National Player of the Year, and a gold medalist at the FIBA U19 World Cup with Canada. The list goes on.

As soon as they got the #3 pick, we all knew it would be Barrett and I’m fine with it. He’s easily one of the most polished rookies they’ve had in years.

He might become a star. That’d be awesome.

Let’s see what other hijinks the Knicks can get up to tonight.

Pretty insane how many of these guys have basketball pedigree. Two guys whose Dads were drafted. Zion’s stepdad played for Clemson. Helps to have an in.

Culver is a good get for the Wolves given what they gave up to get pick 6.

I was so confused as to why PHX was drafting another SG. This makes more sense.

If we don’t grab a big free agent RJ Barrett might have some big scoring nights (on the back of huge FGA numbers of course). The big knocks on RJ Barrett are his shooting and defense, and he’s not hopeless on either end. If he develops those parts of his games he really has a shot to be the best wing player in the league. This pick was a no-brainer, and I’m really excited to see him in action during the summer league.

Is Dario Saric really worth 5 draft slots??

Also, he’s in a contract year. Seems insane unless they were targeting a certain bona fide stud who’s rumored to be sliding to the late lottery.

And would they shut the fuck up about Culver’s faith? Faith, faith, faith, faith. “I can hear the faith.” Faith is very important to this young man. Church comes first. Faith. Faith and faith. He’s got faith!

The Sixers had faith in Markelle Fultz and look where that got them.

Not sure who Maria is but she is doing a good job with the interviewing. Feel like it’s generally a lot more painful….

The big knocks on RJ Barrett are his shooting and defense

Oh, is that all?

Is White a stretch at 7? Feel like there might have been a few guys you would go with before him. Especially for Chicago. Must not be super enthused about the Lavine and Dunn show.

Did he just call the article about Coby White’s late father “sensational” and “authentic” in the fucking same fucking sentence?

I actually want to keep Frank too. He is better than a typical second round pick.

lol is this real

On a side note for those watching the NBA draft, the Yankees are pretty good.

RJ gonna be a stat stuffer. Good rebounder and passer. Hard ass competitor everyone says. That’s a damn talent in itself. Wants to be a Knick. Garland more talented but we need hard working junkyard dogs. He’s a pretty talented junkyard dog.

@15

On a side note for those watching the NBA draft, the Yankees are pretty good.

Oh yeah? But but the Mets fired a couple of coaches today! Gonna rip off 10 wins in a row!

NOP selects hayes, terrific pick for them. Griffin is having a bumper off-season

Hachimura to Washington lmfao wyd

@10 bro the draft is not your expertise. I’m truly sorry you’ll have to take that Brandon Clarke poster off your bedroom wall and all, but you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Man, Rui talking in Japanese is awesome. Being Japanese too! The NBA is awesome for a lot of reasons….

@10 bro the draft is not your expertise. I’m truly sorry you’ll have to take that Brandon Clarke poster off your bedroom wall and all, but you don’t know what you’re talking about.

I hate to break this to you, but Ntilikina was one of the very worst NBA players in the league last year. According to BPM, he was a 1st percentile player. If you want me to get you a list of 2nd-round picks who have done better than a -5.7 BPM as a sophomore, I’d be happy to oblige. But I don’t think you’re ready to let any amount of evidence stand between you and your blind-faith thinking.

Are we going to get any more picks before 55? Let’s at least buy a second rounder.

Cam Reddish and Trae Young or Doncic?

Man, I can’t believe Reddish is a lottery pick. Ridiculous. Hope he proves us all wrong.

Man, I can’t believe Reddish is a lottery pick. Ridiculous. Hope he proves us all wrong.

It’s crazy, he’s so bad! He doesn’t pass the stat test or eye test.

Way more depressed about this than I thought I’d be. Hope he does well but I’ve no faith Barrett learns to shoot, learns to dribble with both hands, learns to drive without running over guys, learns to play defense..

It’s crazy, he’s so bad! He doesn’t pass the stat test or eye test.

Sorry, did you just hear all of the reasons Bilas gave for why he’s a top-5 talent? Height, wingspan, consistency. All he has to do is play better all the time. That’s it! Anyone can do it.

And what the fuck is Billups talking about? Cam Reddish was NOT the best player at his position in most games at Duke. He’s acting like Reddish is going to have to START playing hard in the NBA. He fucking sucked against NCAA talent! He’s in for a fucking world of hurt. I cannot imagine struggling in the NCAA and showing up for work in the NBA against the ridiculous SF/PF lineups out there these days. It’s like failing to convincingly play the guitar solo to “Stairway to Heaven” and then being like, “Well, maybe I should try ‘Eruption’ instead.”

Way more depressed about this than I thought I’d be. Hope he does well but I’ve no faith Barrett learns to shoot, learns to dribble with both hands, learns to drive without running over guys, learns to play defense..

Just wait ’til that new car smell wears off. We’re going to be arguing about Harrison Barnes 2.0 for years.

I would much rather draft Bol Bol and his gimpy foot than Reddish. Although, I like what Atlanta has been doing…

I mean if Cam Johnson is the best shooter in the draft what are they doing taking Reddish?

I guess he is old…

@26 don’t talk to me about blind faith when you’re the guy who thinks 23 year old Brandon Clarke and all 15 of his 3PAs at Gonzaga can develop into a respectable 3 point shooter at the NBA level. And for the record, I would have taken Donovan Mitchell and Luke Kennard over Frank Ntilikina. I’d have taken Kevin Huerter and SGA over Knox. Just because I root for a guy when he puts on a Knicks jersey doesn’t mean I’d have taken him ahead of other players who were available at the time. But please, tell us all about how Brandon Clarke is going to be the next Draymond Green.

so phx turned the 6 pick, tj warren and the 32 pick into 1 year of saric and a guy who some ppl thought would be available at 32

Top recruits out of high school:

2010: Harrison Barnes
2011: Anthony Davis
2012: Nerlens Noel
2013: Andrew Wiggins
2014: Emmanuel Mudiay
2015: a Ben Simmons
2016: Josh Jackson
2017: Marvin Bagley
2018: RJ Barret

Looks like its not that indicative of anything come pro time.

Way more depressed about this than I thought I’d be. Hope he does well but I’ve no faith Barrett learns to shoot, learns to dribble with both hands, learns to drive without running over guys, learns to play defense..

Yeah, it hurts. I’m rooting for the kid but I just don’t see the appeal. He’s pretty good at a few things but not great at anything and I don’t see how he survives at the NBA level with that shot.

Sorry, did you just hear all of the reasons Bilas gave for why he’s a top-5 talent? Height, wingspan, consistency. All he has to do is play better all the time. That’s it! Anyone can do it.

Well, he’s not wrong. Reddish was very consistent last year. He was consistently terrible but he was consistent.

Just because I root for a guy when he puts on a Knicks jersey doesn’t mean I’d have taken him ahead of other players who were available at the time.

You literally just said he’s better than most 2nd rounders. And he’s not. He is objectively not. He is a scrub, full stop. There’s no spin that will make him stop being a scrub.

Just admit that you are able to lie to yourself because it makes you feel better.

Reddish was very consistent last year. He was consistently terrible but he was consistent.

Haha, I’m not going to puncture your joke (which brought me a smidgen of joy) but Bilas was saying that he played exceptionally well sometimes and very poorly at other times. I misrepresented what he said.

Teams love to reach for Cam Reddish-Esau’s players all the time. Danny Ainge took Jaylen Brown with the 3rd overall pick in an actual NBA Draft because of athleticism and the idea of what he could be if you could teach him how to play basketball. As long as the draft is an inexact science, front offices will gamble on players they believe they can “put in their system, make him a functional piece, and then everyone will laud how great an organization we are.” It’s a joke, but professional sports front offices don’t really know what they’re doing.

I don’t really understand the (bullshit) argument that players gain something meaningful by staying in school. In the NBA, you have one job: play basketball. Practice, study and compete. Anything Washington learned at Kentucky he could have learned better within an average NBA franchise.

@42 please find where I said Frank Ntilikina was better than most 2nd rounders. The last thing I said about Frank Ntilikina was that he’s a niche player, not a nice player, and that it’s a shame he didn’t get traded to Dallas.

This run on 3-point shooters with Rui/Cam/PJ shows how important that skill is in the league now…

…and I like that we don’t care about that! Zig when they zag.

I don’t really understand the (bullshit) argument that players gain something meaningful by staying in school. In the NBA, you have one job: play basketball. Practice, study and compete. Anything Washington learned at Kentucky he could have learned better within an average NBA franchise.

I somewhat agree but a few considerations:

1. He might not have been in the league at all
2. If he was in the league he might have barely played
3. If he was in the G-league there’s an argument that the college coaching environment is better. Calipari certainly gets paid a hell of a lot more than G-league coaches and the top schools have lots of resources

But yeah, generally I’d go pro as soon as you can get paid in the NBA at least.

@49 Rui Hachimura made 0.4 3s a game last year. I’m not so confident he’ll be a 40% shooter at the next level on any reliable volume.

I don’t really understand the (bullshit) argument that players gain something meaningful by staying in school. In the NBA, you have one job: play basketball. Practice, study and compete. Anything Washington learned at Kentucky he could have learned better within an average NBA franchise

Recruits are starting to work that out. The NCAA’s loss is the Australian league’s gain.

I hate these split threads, can’t keep track of the bad opinions

Wow, Brandon Clarke is available for Boston. Fuck Boston, hope they draft Little.

Jay Bilas is not smart

He said earlier that Charlotte can’t afford to keep Kemba Walker

@54 just say you were wrong. It’s the adult thing to do.

1. He might not have been in the league at all
2. If he was in the league he might have barely played
3. If he was in the G-league there’s an argument that the college coaching environment is better. Calipari certainly gets paid a hell of a lot more than G-league coaches and the top schools have lots of resources

This is a good point. It seems that draft slot determines playing time, so yeah, if you can go from #25 to #10, you might be better off in the long run. Some months back I listed the lottery players between 2013 and 2016 who are out of the league, and the list is quite short. If you can win a “lottery pedigree” label from the pundits, it might be worth an extra year in school. But it seems like those who stand to gain the most are those who fail to earn PT based on merit, not draft slot.

I can’t imagine that learning an NCAA offense is better than learning an NBA-style offense in the G-League, though. I think Calipari and Coach K and the like are successful because of their recruiting ability, not player development alone. I’m sure they’re fine coaches, but their best players have been great all on their own (AD, Zion, Wall, et al.).

@54 just say you were wrong. It’s the adult thing to do.

I was wrong. It was KnicksfaninNJ.

PJ was projected as a second rounder last year iirc. He went back to get into the first round and get more guaranteed money. It was a good bet, in his case.

this thread would really get fun if clarke dropped all the way to our travis wear pick

You may disagree that Clarke is the 2nd-best player in the draft, but you have to admit that it’s batshit insane that he just fell out of the lottery. The guy’s floor is NBA starter on a low playoff seed. He’s basically a skilled Ken Faried at worst.

Why am I watching this stupidity?

I like how the Knicks have made a relatively decent pick tonight. Relatively.

I’m really interested in seeing if we can actually grab Bol Bol. That injury is not a joke, but depending on the cost I’m interested in it.

Surely one of these teams in the teens has to go with Clarke.

It’s destiny now that he falls to San Antonio at 19 and gets drafted there. He’ll be great and then everyone will wonder how the Spurs always find these guys.

Brandon Clarke is not a sexy player. He’s an undersized center who has to move to the wing, he doesn’t have the repertoire teams look for (moves off the dribble, a 3 point shot) in a wing, and then he’s 23 years old. A guy with his stat line this season should have been picked already, but the draft is more about what you’re projected to do in the NBA and not what you’ve already shown in college. I’d have taken him if I were Washington, but it’s not crazy that he wasn’t a lottery pick either.

I want to see Frank develop for another year. I never thought two years would be enough to make him good. It’s not that he is good now. I never meant to say that.

It’s batshit insane that he hasn’t been picked yet.

langfords number are ok… solid pick for the celts which i hate..

i hate that coby white went to the bulls… glad culver went to minny… two teams who had guys who were almost knicks…

rj will be solid… this is hopefully the start of a turnaround…

Wow, surprised Okeke got drafted so high with the ACL tear. He’s a guy I really like, would have loved to have traded back and gotten him.

The older I get, the hotter these ballers’ moms get. Is this a normal part of my decline phase?

Still no Clarke, Goga, or Bol. Bigs have become seriously devalued in the league.

Hard to see the Pacers taking Clarke with Sabonis and Turner looking like franchise cornerstones. This means he goes to the Spurs, or I know nothing about basketball.

Bol Bol should not have worn that suit. Spider’s web clearly bad karma….

It’s raining Cams. Hallelujah.

Lol

Gotta be happy about Clarke going to the Spurs. Good organisation that will use him well.

Not that he’s been picked yet, but ya know…

I’m not big on celebrity crushes, but I admit I’ve googled “Luka Doncic mom” a few times over the past year

Love the pick. Good first step. At the Yankee game. I wore my lucky Knicks T under my Yankee jersey. I hope we snare a late 1st or early 2nd.

Man, I really like what the Pelicans have done here. I’m really envious.

I’m not big on celebrity crushes, but I admit I’ve googled “Luka Doncic mom” a few times over the past year

Yeah but we’ve got Mrs. Fizdale

Is Bol Bol falling out of the first round altogether? This is insane.

The NBA is definitely telling us we are going to be proved hilariously wrong about Clarke….

Also, Luka’s Mom >>>> Mrs. Fizdale

this is what i meant about this late first round. you could have 21-25 and get two legit lottery tickets (bol and jontay) and two guys with a pretty decent chance of being useful right away (clarke and williams)

Please trade back into the draft and take Clarke / Grant Williams. K thanks.

Cancer really sucks. Maybe Biden CAN cure cancer?

Fiz’s wife is hot, but too young for a middle-ager like me. Luka’s mom, however…

Looks like Memphis is getting that OKC pick specifically for Clarke. Are they sure they don’t want Frank for 21?

Clarke is pissed. Dude does not look happy to still be at that table.

Matisse going to the Sixers now because Boston needs ANOTHER pick I guess… they get 24 and 33.

Clarke is pissed. Dude does not look happy to still be at that table.

He should be pissed. It’s crazy he’s lasted this long with the crazy production he put up last year.

Hmmm. I started to get excited a bit bc RJ is clearly driven. I have no doubt this kid will work his butt off. But he just said he wants to work on making difficult shots! Nooooo! At least it’s clear to him he needs a 3 pt shot.

How is Bilas this dumb? How can you not understand why Little hasn’t been drafted? He was terrible last year just coming off the bench for 18 mpg.

Little was better than Langford or Reddish and they got picked ahead of him lol. But the shooting and low steals numbers are a big red flag. As a tarheel I hope he gets picked in the first, for his sake.

Cancer really sucks. Maybe Biden CAN cure cancer?

He should work on curing his constipation of the brain and diarrhea of the mouth first.

Well, at least the Yankees are looking amazing. This team at full strength will be absurd.

@120

They hit a shit ton of home runs these past two games and they get to add Aaron Judge tomorrow. It’s hilarious.

He should work on curing his constipation of the brain and diarrhea of the mouth first.

Similarly, I hope that he works on curing his male pattern baldness.

ponds… bols… porter left….
it would be nice to have 31 right about now..

So confused about Bol. How do you not give up some cash to take him at #31? He looked like a top 5 pick before the injury. 2nd rounders carry more risk in the possibility of having to pay them early (Whiteside, for one) than to swing and miss on them…

Long fall for Keldon, there was a time he was predicted to go in the top 5…

Kevin Porter to Cleveland via Detroit for 4 Cleveland seconds and cash. Yikes, bad trade by CLE. The #30 isn’t worth any combination of four seconds.

It’s kind of fucked up that they specifically just added Porter to the green room the other day and he probably dropped to the second round.

If Cashman ran the Knicks as a side project/hobby they’d still be in a much better place

Bol’s medicals must be terrible. Don’t know what he is doing at Barclays if that is the case though.

He’s a great second round pick….

once thing we seem to be proving is that we’re still holding out hope for two maxes. otherwise there were plenty of chances to use a small amount of cap space to nab a pick like this j simmons deal.

There is little chance this front office has the foresight to make trades for future picks and assets using their cap space.

once thing we seem to be proving is that we’re still holding out hope for two maxes. otherwise there were plenty of chances to use a small amount of cap space to nab a pick like this j simmons deal.

It means that they’re conserving cap space. I hope it means they think they’re still in play for some max guys.

The older I get, the hotter these ballers’ moms get. Is this a normal part of my decline phase?

just wait for the day you look at someone’s grandma and think they look pretty good…

If Cashman ran the Knicks as a side project/hobby they’d still be in a much better place

truth…

She’s a bit plastic for my taste, but Gina Stewart has been dubbed “The World’s Hottest Grandma.”

Gina Stewart’s face looks hard from all that work. I won’t harangue women who turn to plastic surgery to stay young (can’t imagine the pressure when your looks are your most valued asset), but that doesn’t make it a good look.

Man, I was sure Bol Bol would go around 16. Can’t believe he fell this far.

“Knicks trying to trade for another first round pick to take Bol Bol.”

Knicks then don’t trade for a second rounder for Bol Bol even.

No idea who Gina Stewart is/was, looked her, find her deeply unappealing. Woman who age naturally (while taking care of themselves) can be pretty damn good-looking, but that ain’t it.

Gina’s Romulan-like eyebrows aren’t doing her any favors. No offense to her, but as someone said earlier, lots of nice looking women 40+, 50+.

Checked and Julianne Moore isn’t a grandmother yet, but, yeah, you know…

So, who takes the flyer on Bol Bol? One pick before the Knicks?

Probably.

BTW, any discussion of hot older ladies must at least mention Christie Brinkley, who aged very well, but has had some work done. Now 65.

I’m “only” 39 so to me hot older ladies means mid 40’s to mid 50’s lol

Are one of Ponds or Bol really going to fall to us…

It is not possible for the Knicks to get lucky at 55….is it?

So much for the rumor about the Knicks trying to trade into 1st rd for Bol, they didn’t even trade up to 44 to draft him.

Denver traded for the pick, so it was available! What the fuck, Knicks?

Denver does love their super high upside, might be injured forever and never play a minute guys. If him and MPJr pay off, it’s a nice get.

Man can we please buy a pick and get Porter + Ponds please thx

So much for the rumor about the Knicks trying to trade into 1st rd for Bol, they didn’t even trade up to 44 to draft him.

After making the #3 pick, the FO was probably busy checking out pics of Gina Stewart.

If they read Knickerblogger than for sure they were googling Gina Stewart lol

We bought a pick and got Iggy Brazdeikis ughhhhj WHY

Traded the 55 for it the 47. Bummed. Iggy is a fine pick (probably value at 47), but Ponds and Porter project to be soooooo much better.

Iggy is a banging physical freshman wing from Michigan.

Brazdeikis doesn’t have the worst profile in the world but UGHHHH PONDS

Most mocks had him going undrafted so not sure the need to trade up to draft Iggy.

Kobe Assists are now Cam Assists

9 spots until Shamorie goes undrafted!!!!!

So apparently Marvin Bagley and Dame Lilliard are having a rap beef tonight.

Iggy shot 39.2% on 3.9 3PA this season, 77% ft% too, and he was a productive player. I like it. Hopefully we can end up with Ponds like we did with Trier.

Iggy is an excellent shooter, he was in the top percentile in spot up shooting and also in scoring off cuts. But yeah looks like he does nothing else well at all.

Iggy will likely finish with a higher career WS48 than our last two lottery picks but that doesn’t tell you anything at all

Best tweet I’ve read on Iggy from Dan Devine:

The entire scouting report I have on Ignas Brazdeikis is that he talks a lot of shit and shoots a lot of 3s. Sounds good.

He is a pretty good scorer, especially for a freshman, but I guess this administration doesn’t care a whole lot for defense, huh?

Edit: although it looks like he played more defense than our top-3 pick lol

He’s also friends with Barrett because they were teammates on Canada’s youth national teams.

Sounds like Iggy was also a huge energy guy for Michigan. Relentless motor, etc.

Was hoping for Aric Holman, but maybe he goes undrafted? This has been an odd draft.

We signed Kris Wilkes to a two way

Knicks signing Kris Wilkes to a 2-way deal. Judging by his stats I don’t know why they’re signing him compared to other players who went undrafted.

wilkes is like knox’s clone…. except a little stiffer….

i really hope we’re signing ponds…..

Yawn, that was kind of a let down. Not much boldness or improvement to the Knicks. Taking Barrett is fine – however you feel about him look on the bright side: at least we didn’t end up with Cam Reddish

Lacque signs with Phoenix, 2 years guaranteed. Some others:

Moses Brown
Simi Shittu
Shamorie Ponds
Louis King
Kris Wilkes
Jayle Hoard
Ky Bowman
Oshae Brissett
Tacko Fall
Austin Wiley
Jontay Porter
DaQuan Jeffrie
Terence Davis
Lou Dortz
Dedric Lawson

Brazdeikis is not a stiff but he’s really not something we need, he’s another scoring-oriented player who is not looking to do much else other than score. He held his own as a scorer as a freshman in a legit conference but it would have been nice to pick up somebody who can play some defense.

The guy is pretty muscular and athletic, maybe they figure they can teach him to play defense or something. He has the paltry block and steal numbers of a guy who is phoning it in on that end.

Ponds to the Rockets 🙁

Pretty underwhelming night, all things considered. You get the impression they’re still very focused on the free agency route.

No hate for RJ Barret.
No shooting? TMAC dont know how to shoot during his first few year.
I have high ceiling for RJ Barret.
Now lets wait and see for free agency.

Very underwhelmed! I still thimk this front office basically doesn’t know what they’re doing (trading up in the 2nd round?!?) but I hope it works out that I’m wrong

Trying to get even remotely intrigued about Wilkes is one of the more difficult things I’ve done in a while. I guess his 2PT% is pretty solid at his volume? Half-decent 3PT% at high-ish volume?

I have no problem with picking RJ but all 3 picks do very little to counter the idea that these guys are all about buckets…and nothing else.

Well, if we don’t sign free agents, we’re gonna suck next year anyway, so I don’t think we should worry too much about getting good defenders or team composition… Perry and Mills so far seem to be very averse to risk, almost like they’re scared of making moves so they don’t get burned.

I’m not unhappy about the draft results but it’s just what it is, uninspiring but not bad. I would give them a C for now.

Knicks also signed Amir Hinton who was one of the better players in D2, pretty good stats for a SG but obviously weak competition. Came out a year early too which is rare for a non-D1 player.

Perry and Mills so far seem to be very averse to risk, almost like they’re scared of making moves so they don’t get burned.

Trading Porzingis isn’t a risk averse move…… especially trading him in 28 seconds.

I don’t think they’re risk averse. I think they’re deeply flawed in talent evaluation, and that doesn’t bode well for the incoming free agency. Trading up from 47 to 55 to select a player who doesn’t move the needle at all about our roster weaknesses doesn’t make any sense.

That said, I’m totally ok with RJ. Not my kind of player but not Wiggins either. Only the multiple Kobe references scare me a bit.

Any idea why bol bol went to second rond?

His medicals were apparently really bad. Like, “Will this guy even play in the NBA?” bad.

That said, I’m totally ok with RJ. Not my kind of player but not Wiggins either. Only the multiple Kobe references scare me a bit.

As much as Kobe is aesthetically panned around here, if Barrett turns out to be a Kobe clone that would be an unbelievably terrific out come. A lot of winning seemed to follow Kobe around his first 14 years in the league.

Trading up from 47 to 55 to select a player who doesn’t move the needle at all about our roster weaknesses doesn’t make any sense.

What do you expect to get at 47? this guy has a pretty impressive statistical profile for a freshman in a major conference. WS/48> .200 …. 39.3% 3 ball shooting with a relatively large sample. I mean WTF???

Uh, I think I didn’t make myself clear. I have nothing against Iggy. But did we need another score-only player?

@220 Honestly, we could use an excellent 3pt shooter off the bench. Or at least a consistently good one.
