Brian Cronin wrote Saturday in the recap for the Cavs game that he didn’t get the Kevin Seraphin signing. Neither did I. Seraphin was part of a mess of bigs Phil Jackson added this summer: Robin Lopez, Derrick Williams, Kyle O’Quinn and Kristaps Porzingis were the others. It was hard to see how Seraphin could fit in, especially after suffering through an injury to start the season. Well, Seraphin had himself a game Sunday against the Pelicans. Game Preview & Thread: Knicks at Pelicans

The New York Knicks take on the New Orleans Pelicans tonight at 8:00 EST in their second game of a back-to-back. To get a better idea of what the Knicks are in for tonight I brought in Mason Ginsberg of Bourbon Street Shots and David Fisher of The Bird Writes. Enjoy! Pelicans 77, Knicks 72: Knicks fall in Summer League opener

In what was a really close game throughout the day, the New Orleans Pelicans defeated the New York Knicks in their Las Vegas Summer League opener yesterday afternoon, thanks in part to a huge afternoon from Austin Rivers. Rivers, who had a rookie year he’d like to forget, elevated the Pelicans with twenty-four points to go along with seven rebounds and six assists. Iman Shumpert, playing for the Knicks Summer League squad, got a pretty good amount of burn, which is hardly surprising: with the Knicks point guard depth lacking a bit going into the 2013-14 season, the plan seems …continue reading
