Ironic that Nash and Stoudamire used to torture us with that exact same pick and roll play. I went to the Suns game last year and Amare had about 8 slams coming down the lane and ended up with close to 30 points. Of course it helped him a lot that our man Eddy was on the floor.

Hey, has anyone noticed how silly the coverage of the whole “Dwight Howard has the most votes ever” nonsense has been?

I mean, sure, he’s popular, but come on, people, the second highest vote-getter at center was Samuel freakin’ Dalumbert! Of course Howard is going to get a sick percentage of the votes! That doesn’t remotely mean that he is as popular as Kobe, Lebron, etc.

You know I only do these to fill your Lee fix. =)
BTW does anyone have the dunk stats? I’m sure Dwight Howard leads the league but Lee seems to get at least three a game.

82 games has the dunk data and Lee has 61 which is 12th in the NBA. Great work as usual. Amare seems to be one of the hollowest “superstars” in the league, your episode reinforced that.

Great work!!

This is just what I talked about in the game preview. The Lee/Duhon two man game was really be effective against Nash and O’Neal/Stoudamire. It was good to see New York take advantage of Phoenix’s poor defensive efficiency.

This video fits in perfectly with Pelton's column about D'Antoni being a defensive genius. For all the talk of Mike's teams not playing defense, Porter's Suns are even worse. Hell the Knicks this year have a better defense than Phoenix. That says a lot!
