Great stuff Z, now where his Ted, I need some Advanced stats on his shot selection, synergy isnt giving me anything, anyhow I'm really impressed with the six rebounds, we already know he's the cookie monster so those steals are a given and with the by-product of D'antoni's offense being three pointers on steroids I'm sure he is destined to improve, the rebounds are great, now we have a chance to fix one of our major problems, now we'll have MELO, Stat and Shumps committed to doing this and if CP3 comes to town, OMG I'm sorry but it will be over for the East, the line up will be on steroids as well. I think we have found our Lmar Odom, our hardworking slasher who can play three positions and is a double double threat every night, Donnie does it again. Great job guys, now I'm excited for the season and yes there will be one. Roger Mason our part time guard just told us all hahahaha. Gotta get my hands on those season tickets before stub hub rapes my pay check later on. Hacked??? Gimme a break, I wander how many celebrities say this weekly, hacked?? they don't even know what it means smh

"official" stats for Shump:
11-14 fg, 1-4 3ptfg, 25 pts, 6 rbds, 2 assts; so recap above seems only semi accurate. Still...it's something! There's a game every day,so something to break up the monotony.

Here are some notes from vegas posted by YuckFou from P&T, sounds encouraging:

http://www.postingandtoasting.com/2011/9/12/2420250/team-d-is-your-new-favorite-basketball-team#comments

"There were only five players on each side so no substitutions. Four ten minute quarters with a five minute halftime. There were maybe 200 people in attendance so I could move around to the D-Bags half of the court and sat maybe 10 feet from the action.
In the first 3 minutes Shumpy stole the ball, got a couple of rebounds and missed a wide open 3. After that he made at least 5 threes in a row, mostly from the right corner. Stole the ball a couple more times got at least 6 assists and made a nifty off balance put back on an offensive rebound. He also made a few two pointers and I only counted 2 misses. I’n not sure what the official box score will look like but he scored at least 20 points by my unofficial count.
My cellphone went off with about 2 minutes to go so I had to get to someplace quiet and missed the final two minutes of action but by that time the Bags were down by about 10. I’m not sure if they won or not, but I think they probably lost.
Shumpy pretty much stayed on the outside for most of the game.
Anyway my overall impression was of a guy who lets the game come to him, didn’t force up any bad shots, and if given a sliver of space will burn you. He’s got a nice stroke.
Jorts was not in attendance and since there was no program I am not sure who anyone else was except for Corey Magette. From what saw I think we can be encouraged."

***IDEA FOR A KB COLUMN***

Someone should try out for the Knicks' minor league team and document their experience. I'd do it but I have work (and a terrible jumper).

I love the thought of Jorts as well, but not many guys drafted at 45 stick around in the NBA. I do have a good feeling about him, though. If he can be a poor man's Kevin Love, that would be cool.
