Preseason Game Thread: Knicks v. Raptors

Bonjour camarade Knicker-backers!

Allons-y, Knicks!

Well, provided he can make 3 of them; or at the very least draw the Roy Hibbert’s of the league away from the paint to contest them.

I know Clyde doesn’t think there’s room for Murray on the roster…but man he’s just so far ahead of the competition (the other fellows trying to make the Knicks’ roster) that I’m not sure they’ll be able to turn him away…trouble is, what do you do with him when you’re already 6 guards deep?

Not so far ahead of Ike IMO.

Ike is my #2 to make a spot; so I agree with you that both have shown they can be decent end-of-bench options. Personally, given the health state of our bigs (Amare and K-Mart in particular), having a half-way not terrible backup for those back-to-backs would be a good idea. The trouble is his he’s a bit undersized for the position we would likely want him to play. But if we go by the “draft the best player available and not worry about what you need” philosophy, then I agree with you on Ike.

I’ll put it this way: were I a betting man, I’d place my money on Murray and Diogu making the final two roster spots (assuming we keep Tyler as well).

Of course, not two minutes after I type that Diogu runs away from Hansbrough to give him a wide open dunk to tie the game…oh well, not like he’d be in right now if the game actually counted. He’s still my pick for a big.

    Yeah me too.

Ike, Murray, & Tyler should be the last 3. Please don’t go Isiah on us Knicks and do something stupid.
