Frank sucks, but he scored 5 points on 5 shots, played defense, and got 5 rebounds. That makes him probably our most effective backcourt player tonight. Y’all need to move on.

Watching Knox trying to guard Giannis was like watching a 150 pound place kicker trying to tackle a 220 pound kick returner with a full head of steam

Mud is starting to dry up and regress back to dirt. When that happens, Frank will return to the starting line up. Kanter shouldn’t play more than 15 minutes no matter the outcome, and we should trade TH2 to Chicago for Jabari Parker.

and we should trade TH2 to Chicago for Jabari Parker

While normally, I’d have them on the short list of teams dumb enough to trade for THJ, I think LeVine’s presence there means they’re not interested.

Please can Perry just trade one of the vets so I can feel like something has been accomplished this season? Maybe I’m being pessimistic but Frank’s complete lack of progress is having a disheartening effect.

    6. Knick fan not in NJ who thinks our rookies will lead us to a lousy lottery pick in 2019

I don’t think Frank has a complete lack of progress. He sometimes shows he can do more stuff than last year (when he’s playing point), but he doesnt do it very often. He also is sometimes a wing this season instead of point and that also conceals some progress.

This seems like a good time to remind everyone that Phil traded what would today be the 32nd pick in 2019 for the ability to sign Travis Wear. An underrated idiotic move.

The worst part was not that it was done to sign Travis Wear, per se. It was done so that the Knicks wouldn’t have to pay Travis Outlaw’s $3 million salary when Phil wanted to keep Wear over Outlaw. Rather than just cut Outlaw if he really needed Wear on the team instead of Outlaw, Phil instead traded a pick to Philly so that they would take Outlaw’s contract off of the Knicks’ hands. And yes, I agree that that was one of Phil’s most underrated shitty moves.

Hey, we were supposed to be in the middle of a long run of triangle-based championships right now, so who could have known that wasn’t going to be the 60th pick?
