I know i am in the minority here, but i would keep Rasheed Wallace. He is an awesome player. Everything has to fall the right way for the knicks to reach the finals. Then, i think we should gamble on it.

A body won’t take us to the finals, and we wont find anyone worthy of a roster spot in the future. Perhaps in the offseason we can get a Mozgov type of player, but now? i don’t think so. OTOH, Rasheed was giving us quality minutes before going down, why not take our chances even if they are small? we have nothing to lose.

</blockquote>

Yeah once Chandler comes back we should be ok with the frontcourt as long as we don't have any more setbacks in the frontcourt. Obviously STAT coming back for the playoffs will be amazing for our overall team depth as well.

Melo, STAT, Kenyon and Camby, if we go big, all will play minutes at the 4. STAT, Kenyon, Camby will all see minutes at the 5 behind Chandler of course. If Rasheed comes back and can contribute that would be a great boost with how well his game pairs with Melo and STAT offensively and how effective he was defensively.

I also agree there's really nothing out there with a higher reward than what we could potentially get from Sheed. I also think there needs to be something said about the camaraderie on this team and how much the guys genuinely seem to like each other. That probably has an influence on the front office's thinking here with Sheed being easily one of the most popular guys on the team. Obviously it helps that Melo genuinely seems to like and respect him.
