One of the beat writers made the case that the Knicks are NOT really worn down as much as people are saying (other than perhaps Duhon and Harrington) because no one else is playing more than low to mid 30s minutes which is PAR for a starter. I would argue that you can probably throw Chandler into that mix because he’s playing so many more minutes than last year and he’s a rookie.

Yeah, I think Boston’s in deep trouble. Time to fire the coach and make a bunch of trades.

Will be interesting to see how the Knicks play tomorrow, the boo birds will definitely be back in action if they lay another egg.

the good news is that we gained a half game on Boston in the last two days. :)

Boston losing to Golden State in Golden State after a tough emotional loss to the Lakers is almost as bad at the Knicks losing to Minnesota at home in a must win situation.

It should have been obvios Golden State was going to win though, Crawford wasn’t playing. That had to be worth 5 points alone. ;-)

I do, that’s a similar winning percentage to what they’ve done so far in December (3-9). I think we’ve already seen the best ball we’re going to see from this team this year, and most other teams will only get better as the season progresses. if any of the things I mention above happen (Curry, Gallinari, Chandler), then our prospects are better, but as it is, I’ll be surprised if we win 30 games.

awesome, good call for me to skip this one.
seriously, guys, this is a 25 win team right now. Duhon is already at least somewhat burnt out, and it’s still December. continually going with six and seven man rotations will exhaust any team pretty quickly, and we’re pretty undertalented to begin with.
hopefully Curry looks good when he’s back and can be moved at some point, hopefully Gallinari shows something this year, and hopefully Chandler starts looking good again. but we’re not going to be winning many games, so ratchet down your expectations accordingly.

As erratic a shooter as Q is, we missed him badly on the defensive end. And Jared Jeffries may be the worst offensive player in the NBA, he should not touch the ball when the Knicks are on offense.

A lot of the “feel good” has left the building in the last few weeks, and rightfully so.
