I didn’t realize the Jazz had just beaten Memphis 2 nights before, and were 24-8 at home. Pretty amazing that we won that game (plus we were 9 point underdogs)

Brian Cronin: As for Woody and Camby, I think Woody is still holding a grudge from Camby showing up to start the season out of shape.

Possibly, but more likely that he is afraid that playing him a lot would result in the same fate as Sheed, Amare, and now Kurt. Plantar Fasciitis is a bitch and a recurrance at this point would be basically fatal for Camby for this year.

Gotta figure that James White is gone and they pick up a big, no? Or will they drop Sheed or Kurt? White is totally useless on the court but he does have that nonguaranteed 2nd year that could be used in trade bait a la Gadzuric.

Slim pickings out there for bigs — Henry Sims maybe? He should know the system from his time at Erie.

I bet that Grunwald will do anything he can to avoid giving up White’s contract. Woody got really mad when people asked him about cutting Sheed, so I imagine Sheed is not available for cutting either.

Hmmm…damn, I really don’t know if they will add another big. After all, if Camby can play, then presumably they can cobble together enough minutes at the 5 between him and Martin, with Cope/Melo/Novak playing the 4.

Does this mean Camby will actually have to play minutes now? Woodson might perform sepukku before allowing that to happen.
