Love the Lin pick up. I was rooting for us to draft him with a 2nd in 2010. He's a pretty skilled guy and had an above .600 ts his last 2 seasons in college. Probably will never start but could eventually be a 10-15 min backup for us.

Stein says we claimed Lin:

So the PG depth for now is TDDWTTD/Bibby/Lin, while Landry and Walker are our shooting guards. Depending on Bibby's health and/or Lin's assimilation of the offense, I imagine we could see a good amount of Douglas playing the 2, especially if Walker has more games like the opener. Hopefully this is enough to keep us afloat until one of Baron or Shumpert is healthy enough to play.

Well it is Marc Berman. I took it as barely a maybe. At any rate Nate IIRC was not exactly a point guard. Much like Crawford, I never want to see him anywhere near a Knick uniform ever again. Once was enough. You would hope there are more options everytime one is needed than the discarded Isiah players. Alas, Jeremy Lin was mentioned which sounded good but a 20.8 assist% and .458 TS% and .396 EF% in 200+ minutes last year are not exactly appetizing. Anyone else?

Jon Abbey,

I'm not looking forward to that. I don't think Phil Jackson can do anything to improve our defense and his offensive style would benefit Melo at the expense of Amare. I know the guy is a legend but I'd rather stick with D'Antoni, and if we got rid of D'Antoni, I'd rather have Jerry Sloan.
