If he was just playing possum to get under the cap teams to pass on bidding on him, the Knicks may have gotten a steal for the $2.5M. ESPN also intimated that Arenas may still come to NY for (I assume) the $1.5M exception. However, personally, I think I’d pass on that. Bringing in 2 headcase vets past their prime may be begging for trouble.

I can’t believe the best Nick Young could get was 1 yr / $3.7M. I thought the market would have been much hotter for him.
