Man. so many of the articles in the links these days appear to just be someone phoning something in by a deadline. Is it really news that the new coach wants to give the established, struggling players the majority of the shots? and that he wants the PG to distribute first and shoot second? Do we really want Lin taking anything but layups and open shots? Lets get Amare running the pick and roll with him, let him dish, let carmello try to be carmello again. We’re not going anywhere with any other plan.

What’s the matter w people here today. Jeez. Ok fine you don’t like Melo. We get it. MDA didn’t do his job which was to get wins. For a bunch of people that rave about the 90′s Knicks and JVG you sure have short term memories about how awful those teams could be to watch play offense.

I’m rooting for this team to lose, Woodson’s Iso Joe offense is a joke, does it really win ball-games? K maybe the Hawks were able to make the playoffs, we’ll see. We’ll see if Iso-Melo & Amare works. Going 8-15 works, but oh that was D’Antoni’s system so yeah it was his fault. Let’s bury a kid who brought the Garden back, what a joke. I genuinely hope Lin leaves then lights the Knicks up each time he comes back to the garden…just like every other goddamn player who’s left the Knicks.

Some of you just don’t get. CADWCAD
Melo needs to get his twenty plus shots per game to be happy. Anything short of that is not going to be fun for him. Yes, he really wants to win, but not as much as he wants to be the “Man”.

As far as I’m concerned, Melo is a piece of shit and not the guy you want to build your franchise around. Just plain selfish.

misterma: That’s all I asked for. I worry though, that Baron Davis hasn’t had a good season since 2008. The best way to develop players is to play them. So is this year’s playoff run worth burying Lin?

From reaidng between the lines I think the accountability etc. Woodson referred to was Lin with the TOs, shooting the ball etc. and Landry for the TOs. At first I thoguht he was referencing defense with Amare and broken plays by Melo but I think otuherwise. Anyhow we shall all tune in and see.

I think that the ONLY fun I've had in the past 12 years of watching the Knicks was the 2 week linning streak in February. And now they are taking it away fom us, in an effort to eek into the playoffs, yet again. As long as we have the real __________ owning this team, there will be no joy in Mudville. We are a traveling circus, so we may as well have a novelty act on the court as well. Let the Linsanity continue, or rot in hell you awful, flea-ridden, rat-infested, pathetic excuse for a franchise.
