  • [New York Times] Jordan Hill Leads Lakers’ 116-95 Rout of Pelicans (Wed, 13 Nov 2013 07:06:49 GMT)
The Los Angeles Lakers’ sixth starting lineup in nine games clicked from the opening tip, and Jordan Hill was the biggest reason for the flow.

The N.B.A. has put new emphasis on a longstanding rule that prohibits players from holding the ball or redirecting it after a successful field goal. It is known as the delay-of-game penalty.

  • [New York Daily News] Dolan’s win guarantee looms large for Knicks (Wed, 13 Nov 2013 02:52:40 GMT)
There aren’t too many must-wins seven games into an NBA season, but when your cranky, hands-on owner guarantees it will be a victory, well, you better get it done.

  • [New York Daily News] Isola: Knicks owner rant should be music to fans’ ears (Wed, 13 Nov 2013 02:46:06 GMT)
The word from several Knicks is that Monday’s practice was the most intense and spirited session of the season. Now, I’m not saying that is guaranteed to translate into a win against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, but we can at least agree there is a method to James Dolan’s madness.

From the Times: “Hill had a career-high 21 points and 11 rebounds in his first start of the season”

Our draft choices from the last few years keep looking good, just mostly not for us. It’s very frustrating.
