whom no one EVER mentions in his role in the DEMISE of the Knicks. i have never heard so much vile for a person, all that he did was try to turn a bad team into a good team with players who were head cases, when is the onus going to be placed on the players? yes, he gave away LOTS of money, but did YOU think that the players he had bought in were going to stop balling? if you say “yes”, then YOU should be running the Knicks, and it is not like he took over a winning team, org., the Knick are not exactly the celts, bulls, lakers, etc, we have not done ZERO since the 70s, PEACE!

DRed: It’s amazing how indifferent that asshole Jimmy Dolan is to the feelings of the fans.I don’t think there’s a single Knicks fan anywhere who wants Isiah to have anything to do with the franchise.

Roger Mason Jr is a very nice acquisition. My first choice was Anthony Morrow, but this is an excellent fit. I gotta say…despite a LOT of misgivings about the Walsh/D’antoni team, I think it has been a very good offseason. Not sure how this degenerated into a Dolan/Isiah thread-but since it has I’ll go on record with the unpopular position that while Thomas was mediocre during his tenure here, that a) Dolan is the most responsible-by far-for the misery of the last decade, b) that Isiah inherited an awful situation and did in fact improve the roster, and c) while he makes a lovely scapegoat and NYers are always eager for them, Isiah was no worse than a C as prez. I am not saying he was great-or good-but he was just about average, NOT the miserable awful F that most people say he was.

this whole thing makes me seriously wonder whether Isiah has something on Dolan. Even a crappy owner can't be this retarded. In fact, it's almost the only thing that makes any sense. Maybe Isiah has some serious dirt on Dolan.

In the midst of all this Isiah news, I have gained a deeper appreciation for Donnie Walsh’s work. I think this year’s bench unit is better than last year’s starting unit. Say we start Felton/Azu/Gallo/Stat/Turiaf, that’s a clear upgrade over last year’s Duhon/Chandler/Gallo/Jeffries/Lee squad. Is Douglas/Mason/Chandler/Randolph/Mozgov better than that team also? It’s a better shooting back court, a faster team, better defenders, and it’s about the same rebounding team. That said, I think our bench this year could beat last year’s starters. What Walsh has done since he took over is really astounding. I really hope Dolan and Isiah Thomas don’t ruin this organization. Why in the world would Isiah Thomas be considered for a GM job when we can have a guy like Mark Warkentien or Kevin Pritchard? The plan now seems so straight forward and obvious, its almost guaranteed to put us into title contention. I think our Knicks, under Walsh, are a step behind the Chicago Bulls and Hawks, and two behind the Heat and Magic. I really hope Isiah doesn’t have a chance to ruin it.
