Knicks Bloggers Meetup – Wed 6pm

March 19th, 2013 by | @KnickerBlogger | Comments | Permalink |

So we’re going to have a meetup tomorrow at about 6ish until whenever. The place is Feile which is on 33st bet 6/7 aves, next to StoutNYC. Coincidentally it goes with the digital release of our book: “We’ll Always Have Linsanity” Think we might give a few books away? Autographed? With the blood of a Celtics fan? You’ll just have to show.

Call your wives! Hire a dog walker! Tell your boss you’re coming down with something! Just be there!

UPDATE: Here is a link to the place: http://www.feilenyc.com/

Mike Kurylo is the founder and editor of KnickerBlogger.net. His book on the 2012 Knicks, "We’ll Always Have Linsanity," is on sale now. Follow him on twitter (@KnickerBlogger).

Our? I don’t recall anyone reaching out for my input. That’s probably a good thing.

Sorry, fellows, I work late on Wednesdays. I pre-ordered the book, though! Looking forward to reading it!

Wow, Denver on a massive roll!

Yeah, that win was nuts. How hilarious is it that they’ve won 13 straight games and they’re ten games behind another current win streak!

I continue to be sort of irked at how well Chandler is playing for Denver. He never played this well for the Knicks.

    Chandler separated his shoulder tonight.

Shit, really? I just looked at the play by play and I literally turned the game off 30 seconds before the injury with Denver up 11. When I checked back later I just saw that they had won. That’s a real shame for him. He’s likely out for the season then, right?

Sure he did. The first ~40 games of 2010-2011 he was slashing effectively and hitting 37% on 3s as a stretch-4 in the team’s brutal spread pick-and-roll, plus defending all the post players Stoudemire couldn’t (really, he was the only defense that that team had). He cooled off (as did the team’s offense), but for a while people didn’t want to get Melo for a while because we regarded him as Wilson Chandler minus any defense.

The Kings are averaging over 110 points a game since the All-Star break. Tops in the league and a 13 point improvement over their pre-ASG game average.

Apparently its only a slight separation and he is day-to-day.

If the Kings get moved from Sacramento it’s an absolute joke. You put a team out there that actually looks competent and relatively cohesive it does wonders for a fan base. It also helps when the Clippers collapse without Paul on the floor because their team’s shot creation comes from fucking Jamal Crawford.

TDDWTDD. Douglas is killing the Clippers down the stretch.

Sacramento as an organization has been terrible. Management, front office, coaching, player professionalism/effort/discipline it really is amazing how shit the entire organization has been.

I hope to move back to NYC by the end of the year once my wife is done with her studies. I can’t describe how much I miss the city.
