This is a perfect comparison. When on, JR's is Stamos-like.

Truly fun game to watch. I love JR Smith like the girls in my HS loved. 1983-era John Stamos on General Hospital.

Glass half full perspective -- the upcoming road trip might not be as brutal as it looks at first glance. Jazz, Warriors and Blazers are all playing poorly -- i.e., well below .500 -- over the last 6 weeks.

Well Amar'e is out till the playoffs.... This season is starting to turn into a bit of a nightmare at this point. Kurt Thomas is going to need to get more than token starter minutes, and Camby needs to be 100% in the playoffs for the Knicks to feel comfortable about winning even one round. Maybe if JR can turn into Dwyane Wade for a series or two....

Bob, nicely played Annie Hall reference. You know, that's how I think of New York and I am from here.

The Along Came Polly reference was the product of Hoffman catching a ball that flew not celebrity row. That led to the MSG scoreboard operator digging up the clip of Mr. Phillip Seymour Hoffman playing one of the funniest games of two-on-two ever on film. When it comes on basic cable, I will force myself to endure a few minutes to see if it close to that scene.

Truly fun game to watch. I love JR Smith like the girls in my HS loved. 1983-era John Stamos on General Hospital.

didn't have a chance to check the game thread tonight, but I wanted to note an exceedingly rare occurrence:

at 90-69, NY had the ball on the break after a Martin steal. Martin got too far under the basket and threw it out to Prigioni around 18 feet away who fed Novak at 3 point range who moved it to JR around 27 feet away, who hit the shot.

three consecutive passes, no dribbles, each clearly farther away from the basket, resulting in a made shot. that's hard to even diagram, let alone have happen.
