KnickerBlogger Meet-Up – Opening Day 2011!

October 24th, 2010 by | @KnickerBlogger | Comments | Permalink |

The New York Knicks will open the new season on Wednesday October 27th at 7pm. In order to celebrate the occasion, KnickerBlogger is planning a meet-up somewhere in downtown Manhattan (South of Chambers St.) Most likely it’ll be a bar of some type, but which one I’m not exactly sure (the local sports bar burned down a few months back). Once I get an idea of how many guests will attend, I’ll email everyone with the location/information, etc.

If you’re interested in attending, sign up here.

Sounds fun but it is highly unlikely I’ll make it outside the beltway on a week night.

Sadly, I work late on Wednesday nights, so I won’t be able to make it.

Meet-ups are a great idea, though!

I’m going to do my best to make it – what bar?

Great idea! (I’d come, but I’m afraid Ted Nelson might hit me over the head with a whiskey bottle :)
