I think the Knicks might steal a win tonight, 112-108. I’m going out on a limb and saying “maybe.”
      :-)

      Can we please #MKGA?

Step 1: Deport Porzingis, Kanter, Hezonja, and Frank.

Step 2: Enact 25% tariffs on all future trades. (all acquired players get 25% pay bumps, in order to protect existing Knicks)

Step 3: Encourage cigarette smoking in the locker room because Bob Cousy won 6 titles as a smoker. Dismiss emphysema as a Chinese hoax.

Step 4: All critical coverage of Dolan, Mills, or Perry shall be labeled Fake News.

Step 5: During his post game interviews, Coach Fizdale should randomly drop in the name of a hated former Knick rival to get the fan base riled up. (Ex: “So I think we have a good chance to pick up a few wins on this home stand. (pause)….Reggie Miller.”)

Step 6: Spend $6 billion on a wall around the opponent’s basket. If anyone points out that this is stupid because the teams switch sides at halftime, accuse them of being for unlimited opponent scoring.

      Are you ready?

The “new” starting five is back again,
Kevin Knox is shooting around in MSG (not limping, but nobody knows when he’ll be back)
and Mudiay is ready to play (OMG).

      P.S. I hate the Nets
PC P.S. I strongly dislike the Nets

    4. alsep73

Fiz calling Mudiay the team’s best passer would be alarming if I didn’t take not of his statements at this stage as him trying to boost guys’ comfidence. If frank plays decently at PG, and Fiz still gives Mudiay some starts there, well…

    5. The Glass Half Rebuilt

Fizdale’s Knicks are a very fun bunch. I really hope he can develop a few players and that the front office can deliver him a cornerstone player or two.

    6. ptmilo

Ha Timmy just got a dose of his own medicine-yelled at by Kanter for not helping on the Allen roll

    7. Donnie Walsh

Whiteside with 13 rebounds and 4 blocks… in the first quarter. (Sorry, I’m watching a different game)

Klay has 22 in the first. And there are still 2 minutes left.

    9. d-mar

Klay has 22 in the first. And there are still 2 minutes left.

The rest of the teams in the NBA should just all change their names to the Washington Generals.

    10. alsep73

It’s the Nets, but frank looked pretty good so far. And Fiz is showing Kanter some TLC by playing him so much against a team he can destroy offensively.

I know there’s a riveting game between the Knicks and Nets, but if you want to watch Klay break the single-game 3PT record, it’s looking like it could happen tonight. He’s halfway there with 8 minutes left in the 2nd.

    12. ptmilo

they should tell Frank he gets $20k every time he gets a dunk attempt blocked or commits a charge. -$20k for making a finger roll.

    13. dtrickey

Holy shit. Did the Warriors just put up 92 in the first half? Is that a typo?

Can’t watch the Knicks game, but glad to hear of the Frank/Mitch contribution to the highlights.

    14. The Glass Half Rebuilt

Who would have thought Frank Ntilikina’s assertiveness what would keep TH2’s FGA down so far?

    15. DRed

The Knicks as a whole haven’t shot particularly well but Mitchell has 11 points on 5 shots and look at what that does for the offense.

    16. ptmilo

Jordan Bell and the Warriors combine for 92 at the half. He’s so far in the doghouse he can’t get 10 minutes a game without Cousins healthy.

    17. Bruno Almeida

Klay was shooting like 15% on 3s so far, glad to see the Bulls are the ones taking the wrath of his inevitable explosion. How is 92 in a half even possible holy shit.

In Knicks news, Mitch and Frank!!!

    18. ptmilo

please remember when Hezonja averages 24ppg at a 65% TS for 6 games in February that, yes, he still sucks at nba basketball

    19. Cock Jowles, #1 Purveyor of Wanton Chuckery

Can’t watch the Knicks game, but glad to hear of the Frank/Mitch contribution to the highlights.

Tied up with other stuff or just no access to a feed?

    20. Will the Thrill

I actually like Kanter, but will not be mad if he leaves in free agency. We have Porzingis and Robinson already (and hopefully Vonleh).

    21. ptmilo

Timmy spent the first three minutes of this game in a daze and since then has played his best D of the year

    22. Cock Jowles, #1 Purveyor of Wanton Chuckery

HE TIED THE SINGLE GAME RECORD WITH 7 MINUTES LEFT

IN THE THIRD QUARTER WHAT THE FUCK

    23. The Glass Half Rebuilt

14 made 3s for Klay Thompson. Nobody in NBA history gets hot like Klay Thompson gets hot.

    24. Frank O.

      Bulls announcers are funny.
“At some point you gotta take it personal…no o e is doing that. (Klay) is getting wide open jumpers…look, they’re still looking for him.”
      What a bunch of bitches..

    25. dtrickey

Tied up with other stuff or just no access to a feed?

At work unfortunately. It is currently 12:38pm Tuesday here in Melbourne, so middle of the work day. Usually I need to watch the replay on LP when I get home, but have the box score and KB ticking over while I work.

That is an unbelievable feat by Klay.

    26. Bruno Almeida

Yeah, Klay has got to be the GOAT of these ridiculous supernova games. He has a 60 point game in 29 minutes played already, and now this ridiculousness.

    27. dtrickey

That is a really nice stat line from Frank. Tighten up the efficiency and get the assist numbers up a bit and you would be pretty happy with that most nights.

    28. 2FOR18, understands math

Hey jowles, are you one of the idiots who contributed to the credible, nothing to gain Christine Ford’s gofundme million dollar windfall?
      I hope so.

    29. Bruno Almeida

      @76

Bud has got to be the frontrunner for coach of the year so far, I watched a lot of Milwaukee last year because of Giannis and the difference in how they play is absolutely ridiculous, it’s so much better.

    30. d-mar

You know, watching all these youngsters run up and down the court I was thinking that this was the type of team we should have been watching when the Zen Master was GM.

Instead, we were treated to the exploits of Derrick Williams, Aaron Afflalo, Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, etc. etc. etc.

      Thanks Phil!

    31. Grocer

Noah Vonleh would be a very good player if he wasn’t so prone to bad decisions.

This. Credit where it’s due tho, he’s been much better. Hope he’s learning.

    32. The Glass Half Rebuilt

Milwaukee went from a bottom five coach to a top five coach, and it’s pretty apparent. Neither team have their superstars, but Milwaukee is looking great tonight.

    33. rama, king of superfluous poppycock

Yeah, I’m a believer in the Bucks. I’d be more upset about not getting Bud if I didn’t think that Fiz is good and probably a better choice for this team right now. I’m glad we got this W tonight; whoever said it first was right, we needed a win so he didn’t lose the team early. This starting lineup is a step forward.

On the other hand, when your team’s fifth best player can score 50 any given night while playing consistently good D, what’s the point of anyone else thinking they have a chance anytime soon?

    34. Donnie Walsh

On the other hand, when your team’s fifth best player can score 50 any given night while playing consistently good D, what’s the point of anyone else thinking they have a chance anytime soon?

Wait, who’s the 4th best player? Jonas Jerebko?

    35. Max

      Very fun game in Minneapolis,
Wolves with a good lead, missed 7 consecutive shots, Lakers went for the lead but Gibson blocked Kuzma’s three and then it’s Jimmy’s time.
Lakers 2-5, they’re trying to out tank us!

    36. Knick fan not in NJ who thinks our rookies will lead us to a lousy lottery pick in 2019

I think the fourth best player is Cousins. (After Durant, Curry, and Green)

    37. alsep73

Just what the doctor ordered for Fiz. Easy win, Kanter got to feel the love, frank put up a nice stat line, Hardaway got bloodied but kept playing, and Mitch looked superhumanly athletic.

    38. rama, king of superfluous poppycock

Wait, who’s the 4th best player? Jonas Jerebko?

Yeah, I think Cousins is better than Klay. When healthy, of course.
