btw – interesting article about THCJ’s favorite team, the Denver Nuggets. It sure does seem like something is amiss there, with pretty much all their RFAs and UFAs being noncommittal re: coming back there despite them setting the world on fire at the end of the regular season (before, oh right, going down in flames against the Thunder in round 1). It is sort of the opposite of players willing to take less to play with the Heatles or Celtics. Either Denver has a near-monopoly on guys who are essentially broke despite their multi-million dollar salaries and need the $ right now, or they’re just not that excited to play on the Nuggets.

I actually read somewhere that the absolute hard cap could be around $80-85 million dollars. That would just be awesome, but I feel like there will be restrictions (i.e. a soft cap) before you actually reach that hard cap number of $80-85 million dollars.
