any chance the bobcats will trade the #8 pick for curry, crawford or both? i know isiah wouldn't do it, but it's nice to dream of one day getting under the cap and getting a real franchise player.

"I don?t understand how a large market team cannot rebuilt more quickly. Is this all about the salary cap, bad management or something else."

The Knicks still haven't officially begun to rebuild. Therefore it is about both the salary cap and bad management.

Had they decided to rebuild, the Patrick Ewing deal would have been a good time to start. Their future would have been brighter than the 0 playoff wins this century.

As it is, because they are a big market team, they feel obligated NOT to rebuild but to remain "competitive". the '01-'07 Knicks are the result of such a vision-- and even the goal of mediocrity has been elusive.

Dave - They just came out with a Wages of Wins draft preview. It's quite rudimentary, and was done by a reader rather than Berri, but you may be interested to hear that Lasme comes out looking very good, at least when you look at his performance against high quality competition.

I would give that up in a heartbeat (if the young guy isn't David Lee) but it would be a pretty crappy offer compared to the #5 and Gerald Green... UNLESS... Boston is high on Curry.

It's all a moot point, since Isaiah isn't trading him no matter what.
