I’m very happy with the deal. For fiscal reasons of course, but I feel like I have a team I can more readily root for as well.

Would you guys rather have Harrington or Crawford on a purely basketball level?

On a build a team around level or on a premade team as a plugin to start? Makes a difference…. but I would probably take harrington.
I obviously have no reason for this answer other then I have seen what crawford brings to the table and any player taht shoots 20+ times a game can get hot once every two weeks.

So,
Now that we have two years to kill, what do you guys think of the team. I assume that everyone moves up on the depth chart with Nate getting the bulk of Jamals attempts. Do you guys really think Mobley starts over Nate? Why would they do that?

hehe, no. a couple of seasons back, I defended some aspects of Eddy Curry’s play, and as Owen has long been his biggest hater (although the rest of the NY fan base is catching up now), he offered me a bottle (in a one-sided bet, nothing ventured from my end) if Curry was an above average player for a season. he’s pretty safe on that bet, I’d say.

first of all, yay on the trade being finalized!

Rotoworld says that the AP is reporting Mobley won’t play tonight but will be in uniform. I don’t see why that is, I think it’ll be hard for D’Antoni to not play him at all given his other options, but I guess we’ll see in a couple of hours.
