Key player to me tonight, believe it or not, is TONEY DOUGLAS. Aside from running the offense competently, he needs to keep Rondo from getting out in transition and wreaking havoc on fast breaks, and more importantly, he will NEED to knock down his threes, score 20+ points, have one of those big games every so often he does at MSG where he impacts the game offensively and defensively. It sounds like a lot to ask but he has done it several times in the past and is coming off, as far as I am concerned, two pretty poor overal games (aside from the big 3 in the last minute in game 1) in the first two in boston, so maybe he is due.

He really seems to shoot well for the night when he comes out hitting shots....seems like it affects his confidence...and vice versa....play close attention to how he starts the game because his play in quarter 1 often dictates how he will play for the game based on my observations.

sounds like a freak accident to me too. I've thrown out my back sneezing before, so it's not like you can be super careful and avoid it - if it's going to happen, it's going to happen.

Again, I’m a big Amare fan, but I hope he gets ripped all offseason for the stupid, thoughtless, selfish way he got hurt, costing NY any chance they had to win this series.

Cheerrleading is great, but constructive criticism is better - IMO. I'd rather say hey get a block, use your feet, get a dunk, pass and go for te rebound as supposed to, well fill in the blank ____.

Brian Cronin: It was awful what Stern and Bennett did, but I can watch a Philadelphia 76ers game and not feel bad for Syracuse and an Indianapolis Colts game and not feel bad for Baltimore, so I can live with rooting for OKC.

But oh yeah, I would prefer that the Knuggets beat them, I just don’t see how the Knuggets can manage it – OKC has owned them this year.

I don't know how you can do that. I think it's always at the back of peoples heads. Even if they win, championship or not that always stays with you. Anyway it always stinks - right away or a day or two later.

I don't know, even if Melo gets 59 each night during the POffs if the Knicks come short of a championship the trade would be considered a failure - unless Stats prove me wrong (which is the actual reason for this site) of course. Other than that it's about the ticket prices and the star power - you can't blame management for that can you? You can't blame management for looking forward. Today it's about going out and having fun with your family, friends etc. As opposed to going out with only loudmouths who forget where they're standing when they're standing on it. I guess its either about being in a collective or being an individual. At the end of the day you close your eyes alone.

Sorry, just can’t agree with you here. Much as I may like some of the players on their roster, I still can’t stomach the underhanded way in which Bennett and his BFF, Stern, conspired to spirit the Artists Formerly Known as the Sonics away from a town that had loyally supported them for over 40 years.

So don’t bother saving me a seat on the Plunder bandwagon. I’d hate to see their owner’s dirtbaggery rewarded with an NBA title just a few years removed from the commission of his crime.

Go Knuggets.
