jon abbey: only a handful of superhuman freaks can go all out all season and still play at the same level in the playoffs, when it counts. Chandler coasted through much of the first part of the season (not that most people seemed to notice) and when he was selected to his first All-Star team four games ago, Woodson told him to start playing like an All-Star. the first 20 rebound game came as a result of this higher effort play, and he was so excited about that that for the last two games, it’s been a goal. there’s not always an explanation, but in this case, it’s an easy one, all of that has been documented publicly.

So he just turns it on when he wants to do so? And when he doesn't he is just pacing himself. I was expecting something about play making point guards because that is what made Stat good again. I guess sometimes it is as easy as flipping a switch.

Pacers beat Chicago as well today putting them in the 3 seed if the playoffs were to start today. That would be amazing for the Knicks if the final seeding worked out like this. First round matchup against Milwaukee would be nice as well.

the whole team phoned in the second half, I wouldn't take too much out of any of that.

That little dipsy doo layup that Stat made in the 3rd quarter was a thing of beauty, gave me chills thinking that we may really have the old Amare back – AS A BENCH PLAYER! Wow, just wow.

Wasn’t very pleased with Amare’s defense tonight. I counted at least four terrible switches/rotations leading directly to easy buckets for the Pistons.

But good win and a solid effort in shutting the Pistons down when they tried to make a comeback.
