If we play good team defense, and deny KD as many opportunity’s as we can. We have a good shot of winning. Westbrook can turn into westbrick rather quickly.

The ESPN crew posed a very good question. How the hell are the Spurs so successful. That is a subject for serious discussion. How they manage to find the Green/Splitter/Leonard/Mills’ of this world and slot them in so seamlessly is pretty amazing….

The only reason the spurs are still successful and probably will continue to be successful is due to two things. 1- a good front office that understand the pieces a team needs while making sound financial decisions 2- a good coach that has a system his players believe in. If Woodson saids he holds players “Accountable” (in reality berates lol) then what does pop have ? They are def. a well oiled machine.

jon abbey: clearly overly pessimistic, but it’s not like they couldn’t have easily lost all of the last four games, and they still could easily lose all of the next seven. they haven’t had a win over a genuinely good team in months, and even in the last four wins, the opposing teams were all missing key guys (Lee, Nene, Waiters, Monroe). things are about to get real ugly, but it’s nice to have a cushion going into that at least.

If we can grab wins on Saturday against Utah at home and at Golden State on Monday that would be huge. Without Melo I’d expect us to lose tomorrow and to be fair we’re still underdogs with him. I am very interested to see Ibaka defending Amar’e on the block.

I am not….

No one, least of all me, thinks we are a better team without him on the court. But with Stat returning and against all odds thriving and healthy, Melo is considerably less essential.

Chandler did have a horrible game. You will love that….

I’m not bizzaro Owen, as much as you’re trying to be my inverse here. I think Chandler is great and sing and his praises frequently, and I don’t pretend to be a fan of teams I’m not.

There are very few posters who have consistently been in the corner making arguments for current Knicks players more or as much as I have, nor who’ve been as accurate as I’ve been.
