I don’t think I’ve yelled more at the TV to put in Fields in the 4th on Ray Allen than anything else. TD hit that big 3, but also gave a lot of points to Allen.

I don’t buy MDA’s excuse about not giving the ball to Amar’e b/c KG was defending him too far out. When KG started overplaying Amar’e, Amar’e either shot over him (rather effectively) or blew by him (even more effectively).

I don’t have the stats handy, but isn’t Amar’e a better 4Q scorer than Melo? I’m a little annoyed that Melo keeps going Kobe on us down the stretch, particularly when he’s having a terrible game and his teammate is on fire.

Also, Landry Fields was effective on Ray Allen. Toney Douglas was not. Naturally, it was Douglas on him for the last play after a TO. Nice work, MDA.

This may have been the worst-officiated playoff game this side of the Kings-Lakers game 7 in 2002

Just play Toney 48 minutes next game. So long as Anthony Carter, Relic of a Long-Since-Past Age, doesn’t see the floor, I’ll be happy.

This game is an indicator that the Knicks can win the series. So long as Carmelo and the refs don’t conspire to single-handedly blow the game in the last sixty seconds again.
