Second!
Let’s go. Knicks and Packers wins would make my life.
While there was a lot more hype for games against the Heat and the Celtics, this is the biggest game of the year for the Knicks. In addition to the playoff implications, it would really be hard to swallow going 0-3 against the Sixers, with 2 losses at home. The Knicks have to get a W today.
Im watching Liverpool v Chelsea so someone let me know when it starts.
ATDHE doesn’t seem to have the game – anyone else w/this problem?
yea ATDHEnet.tv has yesterdays games up….anyone know of another feed ?
I’m listening on the RADIO. Like a caveman would or sompin’!
i know im in the same boat, stuck at work and cant find the game anywhere
Nate Robinson to the rescue! p2p4u.net
Or should I say soccertvlive.net

Thanks Nate, but it doesn’t seem to work for Mac people
thanks man
Gallo’s really starting to get it about being aggressive going to the hoop. The more he does this, the more people respect it and the more open looks he’ll…… DAMNIT FELTON!
Got it! Thanks NFR
Really curious to see how Chandler plays tonight with the trade rumors swirling yet again. Or if he plays at all.
Nice start so far.
off topic, but I posted this to the other thread and was curious to see what folks think regarding the Knicks lineup should this trade for Melo go through:
Honestly, this may be weird but if they get Carmelo, D’Antoni always gets his best players on the floor.
I think he runs it like this:
C Mosgov
PF Amare
SF Carmelo
SG Gallo
PG Felton.
Gallo would cause huge mismatch problem, and we know how D’Antoni feels about that.
You realize how many guard Gallo could shoot over?
I realize he would have trouble guarding some 2s, but I think Gallo would out produce most of them.
Landry would be the sixth man.
Wow was that an actual post up? Haven’t seen that since Ewing lol
Robert do you know that athde url has changed to ATDHEnet.tv?
Really liked that. He was aware enough to catch the ball on a hop to avoid the 3-second call, made a great move with a nice lefty hook. That goes down 7 out of 10 times.
If he heard the rumors, I’d put his over under at 8 points.

Agree that is the lineup or Fields at the 2 with Gallo as 6th man who could come in at the 2,3,4 after MDA gets a sense of where his best matchups are.
I think that team bolstered by Donnie in the 2011 summer can get us up and over 50 wins / top 3-4 in the East.
I mean one thing that has to be true is that MDA will get the most out 2 enormous offensive weapons in Melo and STAT. Will causes defenses fits.
You gotta love this if it can get done. The previously reported deal, turned down by DEN, had the Knicks losing Fields as well. People are saying the Knicks won’t be able to contend this year, lacking capable big men and defense, but try this on for size: Starting five of: Felton, Fields, Gallo, Amare. That leaves Turiaf, Mozgov, Douglas, Williams, Walker, Azibuke, and Mason Jr. left to make up the bench or be traded to solidify the remaining needs. That is a very formidable team. Nothing would make me happier than upsetting Miami and knocking them out of the dance! Not likely, but possible if the Knicks make moves.
Nice movement by Fields!
Yep – they’ve still got Saturday’s games up. Thanks to my fellow content-criminals out there, I’m watching now on another site
Wow. did the Knicks actually have a good opening period?
WC seems a bit lost out there, where before he would have taken the ball to the glass a few times.
I am really troubled about losing WC, or watching him take these mental hits when he was playing and developing so well.
Maybe I’m making too much of this and his calf was really the problem before when his game went south. I recall in the midst of when his game starting going badly that he was wearing a sleeve on his calf. I told my wife at the time that guys where that (I wear one right now) when they have had micro tears in the calf, which hurts like hell.
When I checked ESPN tonight and saw the Broussard story, I just scanned the entire article for “Fields” as quickly as possible — I didn’t even bother reading it like a normal human being. When I couldn’t find his name mentioned anywhere, I shrieked like a little girl. Let’s hope this remains the final offer.
Wow, basket and +1 for Gallinari, how strange, xD
Gallo has gotten so strong
Man, Gallo is a different guy right now. Complete offensive player. If we can keep him and get Melo it will be a big win.
i feel like there is no way this deal can happen without one of the other denver behemoth contracts being involved
lol, that’s like the 4th time gallo has had a streak broken when closing in on that record
Denver has absolutely no leverage. They’ll be lucky to get anything from Carmelo
They might prefer having a last playoff run with him
One of the bigger things I like about bringing in Melo is having a star player that can get his own shot when our half court offense isn’t clicking. I think we play pretty well transitioning and scoring but our half court game scares very few. Adding Melo should change that. And with Gallo attacking the basket like he has been lately I think it’s gonna be scary good.
Denver should have ended this Carmelo BS already. What they’re doing now is making sure they lose Nene as well. They should have already switched the focus to him, and if I’m a Denver fan, I’m furious over this.
I like the way the Knicks are playing today, good decisions on offense and getting into people (mostly) on D. And they built the lead with Stat on the bench. They really need to keep the pedal down and not let the Sixers make their usual deflating run.
it is funny. And it was such a brick
I think he also improves the prospects that he won’t need to create his own shot. He will require doubles, as does Amare, and that is going to create a lot of open shots for the Knicks shooters.
He also will add more strength to the team
good point, mostly, I’m just desperately hoping we get birdman also…
Douglas isn’t wearing his shoulder gear. Wonder if his shoulders are doing better
Denver doesn’t have any behemoth contracts. Harrington’s is long, but but not huge. Everybody else is effectively expiring.
I hope the new CBA makes it so that 2 superstars not 3 is the best way to build a team, and the Heat get hamstrung b/c of it, and NYk is the team to beat for the next 5 seasons.
That contract was the most ridiculous thing ever. Melo was already clearly wanting to go to NY so they sign Harrington to this terrible 4 year deal and now expect someone to be jumping at it? I kind of thought they looked at him as a bulk scorer for when Melo leaves. Guess they realize he sucks.
Never mind
That would be legit. He’s signed for a few more years so I doubt it, but maybe they’d want to shed the contract. He’d definitely help get the tat quota back up after Chandler is dealt.
I like the look of the team with Mos out there.
I can’t believe how often the knicks deflect a ball or block a shot only for the ball to go right back to an opposition player. So frustrating
it would be an incredible social experiment
Jesus. Turnovers.
Bad pass by Wilson there. Mos didn’t have a chance
Grrrr…. effing turnovers
Maybe they can get the Melo deal done during halftime….
The Sixers are defending the paint really well. Have to spread the floor more and get Amare and Timo into position to kick out.
We need to come up with a name for when Gallo getts to the line for 3.
hahaha
Amar’e came to play today.
Moz really does change the complexion of the team on both sides. He’s definitely aware of his role. Even when he’s not rebounding he’s doing a decent job boxing out, changing shots, diving to the hoop. Lots of good things.
What an AWFUL call.
Horrible call.
Great D by Mos!
Horrible CALL!!!
bs call on Mozzy. I like that he’s making Brand work today.
Mos has gotten a lot smarter on D
He’s done a decent job containing Brand, who has gotten a couple calls.
btw we’re killin’ on the boards 21 to 14.
Moz and Gallo have my favorite expressions when they get jobbed on a call. Gallo winces like someone just unleashed a truly putrid fart, whilst Mozzie Bear looks like someone just told him they’re rationing vodka in Red Square.
Landry Fields speaking in terms of efficiency.
refreshing to see such an articulate rookie…
Remember when Moz used to pick up 8 fouls in like 3 mins…
a springtime miracle
That dude would hack people as he was checking into the game…
I think this Sixers team should be at or above .500 by the end of the season. They play excellent D and have a great bench, and Collins seems to have them playing pretty cohesively with not a lot of stupid shots or turnovers.
Knicks outrebounded the Sixers by 7 on Friday so winning the rebounding battle doesnt necessarily mean a win.
I remember him coming down the court once and literally tripping over a guard who didn’t have the ball. The guy was just walking back and Mos knocked him over.
Glad those days appear to be gone.
he’s also the reason the Knicks are leading in boards.
‘He not only gets them, but he blocks out so others get them.
He’s got 5 so far
If Moz continues to start, once we get Melo we could actually be a really good rebounding team with Fields, Melo and Stat all averaging close to or over 8 each.
Remember when folks used to think Mos was a bad rebounder?
hahahahahaha
Knicks bench is being outplayed again.
Hell yes Mozzy!
Does Mos get that as a board?
Am I the only person who gets pissed off at NY beat reporters constantly pointing out things that hurt the Knicks chances of getting a great deal?
Examples from the last hour or two off twitter:
FisolaNYDN
Got to think Denver wants two first round picks, one expiring contract, a starter and a team to take Al Harrington.
FisolaNYDN
Let’s also remember that the Lakers are vulnerable. Denver can make a run this year. But not with Wilson Chandler and Corey Brewer.
FisolaNYDN
If you’re a 1st year GM of an NBA team would your first major deal be to move your franchise player for two back-ups and a 1st round pick?
FisolaNYDN
If the Nuggets really waited six months to trade Melo for two back-ups & a first round pick there should be an investigation.
Dear Frank Fisola please shut the fuck up. If they wanna make that deal please let them. Snicker later….
Isola is the worst. At some point, these guys just sound like they are trying to defend their previous stories rather than seeing these trades deliberations as a dynamic process.
All of that might have been valid before carmelo’s people started telling people he would go no where but the knicks
how can you not love Mozgov and Fields.
I. Love. Landry.
What a block by Moz
I mean Moz is the guy right in terms of bolstering with a big man for a playoff run. No need to trade assets if this guy can play at this level or close.
Mos’ impact in this game is really something.
The more I see him play, the more I think we need to suffer through some of his developmental stuff and play him for all his worth.
I mean I just don’t get it. Are there any beat writers that are fans of this team besides maybe Hahn? All of the rest of them seem to be happy to sabotage the team.
And Hahn get his paycheck from Dolan…
My solution to this problem has been simple. Don’t follow Isola or Berman on Twitter (-:
You know we talk about Mos’s foul issues this season as a rookie, but Amare is having the same problem and he’s no rook
I agree, just having a big, mobile body underneath on defense makes such a difference. And he seems to have cut back on the dumb fouls, (although Gallo has taken over in that area today.)
Luck STAT didn’t get called on that block. It was all wrist
Igy and Gallo have something going between them. A lot of smirking, lots of body language between them
Knicks had a great third last time we played the 76ers. Need to put this team away
Felton looks to have more energy than he’s had the last 12 games. His injury must’ve been more serious than he let on.
Amar’e never had the problems like Moz had. At least with Amar’e when he gets into trouble he kinda slinks away on D to try to keep himself on the floor. Moz would do that Drago shit and start whacking harder when he felt like he was closing in on the knockout!
Well unless I’m mistaken we’ve only lost twice all season when leading after 3 quarters, and both of them were to philly.
Wisdom from Clyde:
“If the threes are there take them but they’re looking for threes.”
That goaltend for Moz has to be one of the harder transitions since that is legal in international play. It’s gotta be tough to fight that instinct.
Agreed, but the problem is when Amare gets into foul trouble, our defense suffers because he slinks away on D.
Both guys need to play smarter, and it would be nice if the perimeter defenders didn’t put so much pressure on our bigs
and just like that, the offense looks terrible.
Was Moz crying after that offensive interference?!

Had a chance to put this away and didn’t. Darnit!
