Now that Philadephia has passed the knicks in the standings they're gunning for Atlanta. Since they have a legitimate big, Brand, they probably feel they can beat Orlando, and get into the second round. What an achievement that would be!
Over achieving vs under achieving. Dolan, the numbskull, aside, at some point you have to look at the team Donnie Walsh put together, and Dantoni's ability to get the most out of them. I like Dantoni and don't want to see him go, but let's face it, at some point something needs to change, considering of course, the malassembled, overrated superstars are not going anywhere.

that's crazy that they're thinking of extending randolph now. I still think it would be hard for any team to pry gasol free. Let's say they give Randolph $11 million/year. That still leaves them with about $14 million in cap space this summer assuming a $60m cap. Even if we don't take Billups' option and Turiaf opts out (highly unlikely IMO), we still only have about $12 million in cap space. I suppose it's possible that Memphis doesn't match.

I think we should go for Hammed Haddadi. He's 7-2, 25 years old, and averaging 10 points, 3.7 blocks, and 15.7 rebounds per 36 minutes this season. He's also averaging 6.2 fouls/36, but when you don't have much to spend, you can't be picky.

http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2011/mar/21/griz-z-bo-nearing-deal/

At least this is potentially good news - I keep hearing that it would be difficult for the grizzlies to keep Randolph and Gasol next year. Could we field a large enough offer to prevent Memphis from re-signing him?

Turi plays better with a taller bigman next to him aka jef. Out best lineup could be jef turi M&M and billups - good D great O.

Not sure I would want to see MD go. MD is a fighter and sticks up for this club.

M&m should realize that they are great for the Knicks. They get their defenders to stay with them at all times. This should let the other three score: billups, td, fields, mason & extra e. That's all we have.

Saw the replay: if they were a little more disceplent they could have won this game. They didn't and I'm not sure they can pull off a win vs celtics or Orlando. Looks like you guys are getting a leg up in discussing the draft. Could be a nice vacation for this team but obviously not for the fans. Extra e is the most consistent (Amare is sencond) since the trade.

I liked: M&m, Tut, jef, billups.

I alps liked: Am, Jef, Tut, Feilds, Td

I say get Cusins on this team.

Couldn't believe they lost but am extremely happy they did not get blown out. Didn't we lose to milwukee like 6 out of the last 6 years.

On another note, Gallo is looking solid in his first 2 games back from his injury. Just imagine if he was hitting his shots like he was last year..

Hilariously, they're now 1-3 in games Gallo has played, and 0-3 in games he's played well! Granted, the last two losses were close losses to two very good teams on the road, but still, it's pretty funny.

I'm sick of these guys losing to suckish teams. They need to figure this mess out now, and Roger Mason needs to return to the bench. We can't expect to go anywhere with Mason and Jeffries as rotation players. The bench is atrocious past Douglas, Turiaf, and Extra E, so Mike D'Antoni needs to shorten that rotation. He wouldn't play more than 8 players a game when we had a better bench. Now he's playing 10 players with a terrible bench? That makes no sense.

How is it that we can punish Atlanta and Memphis, but have problems with the Central Division? This team is extremely frustrating right now.
