Thanks, Nick. I agree with Caleb that there are some stylistic differences, but they are cut from the same cloth...tough, fearless, relentless, not pure PGs but effective players on both ends, leaders.

Z-Man nice job. I thought Harper was quicker and closer to the top of the league when he was with Dallas. Figured you were just thinking about the hard nosed guy Harper was with the Knicks. Ask JoJo English about that. But by the comp you put up Felton looks better, except for TO, than a young Harper so far this year.

BigBlueAL:
Harper wouldve been MVP of the Finals if the Knicks wouldve won the series.Although to be honest I liked Doc Rivers the most, of course his injury is what made the Knicks trade for Harper.I absolutely hated Greg Anthony.I learned to like Ward and Childs. They hit clutch 3?s and defended their asses off.

Oh yea..and Childs took it to Bean's jaw lol
RE: Harp/Felton..I buy the comparison. 2 big differences tho...Harp was problee a better defender becuz he was allowed to be more physical..and Felt is faster on the break and a better penetrator. Everything else is even. Both them dudes are tougher than nails, pitbull of a point guard type. Love both of 'em

Look at this Felton-Harper comparison at age 26:

http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=0&p1=harpede01&y1=1989&p2=feltora01&y2=2011

We got an older, slower version of Harper at age 33, but there definitely lots of similarities based on what I've seen thus far. Felton is playing near all-star caliber ball so far this year, no?

Felton vs. Harper? They're both savvy, tough and durable, but I don't see the style comparison. Harper was really good, just a notch below the All-Stars, but he was made for the hand-check era (like Doc). Kinda slow, but big - Jason Kidd size - and strong. Good shooter, especially on kick-outs from Mason or Oak or Ewing. He was kind of a combo guard, even then.

Felton on the other hand is small and fast... and I'm not ready to call him a great outside shooter.

Lot of Milicic mentions... thought I'd check it out. Ol' Darko is really tearing it up - a 44.8 TS%, while rebounding less and turning it over more than Stoudemire.

Even more amazing - he's only a year older than Mozgov.
