Berman has a piece today about how the Knicks need to go after T-Mac if they want to make any kind of playoff run. At 5 1/2 out, the term "playoff run" has very little meaning, but I wouldn't mind the Knicks getting T-Mac if it didn't effect cap space, and it's a no-brainer obviously if Jeffries is involved. I guess we're at the same decision point when we were talking about Iverson (late game scoring, bring some excitement to the Garden, etc.) and not picking up AI turned out to be a good move. In this case I don't have much to go on, but I think T-Mac may have something left in the tank, and this team needs a jolt right now before it sinks even deeper into NBA irrrelevancy.

Pretty sad that we are not even at the AS break and the season is already meaningless the rest of the way with the added heartbreak that we cant even root for losses since we dont have our 1st round pick.

Must say Jeffries all of a sudden when he shoots an open jumper Im beginning to expect it to go in. Still cringe though when he dribbles the ball and tries to drive to the basket....

"I think the argument can easily be made that Chris Duhon is the single worst starter in the entire league. I am trying to think of who’d even be in the running…"

I used to think that Shandon Anderson was the worst starter that ever played in the NBA -- but you may be right. Duhon might take the cake.

Is there any chance Joe Johnson can play the point? He might not be the worst alternative in case Lebron and Wade stay. I'm not feeling Bosh right now -- he's definitely not 6+ million/year better than Lee. Johnson can probably be had for well less than the max.
