“I doubt D’antoni would play Curry unless Curry showed coach something in practice.”

D’Antoni said in the Post he’d be working Curry in in short bursts, 3 to 5 minutes, likely starting tonight depending on how close a game it is.

Perhaps Curry will get some burn if garbage time is available, either way.

Before a Knick's game, I always check sportsline's scoreboard where they give a game preview by Accuscore with a projection of who will win the game, shown in percentages. Humorously, I don't think I've seen the Knicks projected to win a game this entire season. For example, the projection for tonights game favors OKC 57% to NYC 43%. Even assuming OKC plays stronger against weak defensive teams as Thomas B indicates above, shouldn't the Knicks be favored. Honestly, I really don't care either way, but I just find this funny. I wonder how much of this "projection" is based upon numbers.

Good stuff, Thomas, but what about Curry? What’s the current update on the chances of him playing tonight?

Thanks for the kind words.

I read a few reports that Curry is practicing and might get some court time tonight. I did not want to rely on that since it was in the NY Post and they have been telling us since summer league that "sources" say a Marbury buy out will occur in the next few days.

I doubt D'antoni would play Curry unless Curry showed coach something in practice. I don't know that Curry could have done that being back at practice only a week or so. I cant think Curry is close to being in game shape either.

Conversely, the Thunder front line would be a good place to get broken in. Curry has to be at least twice the girth of Petro or Sene. Good luck pushing Curry out of the post. We shall see.
