Why does KOQ never play? He’s averaging less than 6 mpg. As both a Knick and Magic he played far less than his skills seemed to merit. So what’s the deal? Does he goof off in practice? He’s a good player!

    1. Knox finally had a good game.

    2. I long for Robinson, KP, and Frank to be on the court at the same time.

    3. As well as Burke is playing again, I still think he’s more of a backup (we are going to have to pay a backup one way or the other). I don’t like the Burke/Hardaway combination starting long term. I’d way prefer Burke and Frank if Burke wins the starting job. Frank/Hardaway if Frank wins it.

    4. I liked Vonleh in pre-season and still like him. I think he’s earning himself a long term job here.

    5. Hezonja is the new Mudiay

    6. Trier is steady on offense, but he’s still turning the ball over way too much. It’s killing his value.

    7. Free Baker and Dotson!

Tonight was pretty much the good Knox that we could actually look forward too. Spot up shooting, great rebounding and finishing in transition.

Still not a good look on defense but he’ll get stronger to deal with guys like Morris.

Knox, Hardaway Jr, and our 2020 pick would make a pretty convincing trade package for Lillard, no?

Mitchell kinda single handedly made the Celtics forget about going to the paint, the impact of his and Ntilikina’s defense was amazing. Hardaway tried as hard as he could to deliver the tank another L, but Burke was not to be denied. It’s one of those games where fuck the Celtics is more important than standings.

    That’s goddamn right.

Frank and Mitch were MONSTERS on defense. Imagine those two plus KP.

This was the best possible version of Burke, a very promising version of Knox, and Frank even had a few beautiful and aggressive trips to the basket.

    In short, fuck Boston.

After someone told him Happy Thanksgiving, Kyrie Irving left the locker room saying he doesn’t celebrate Thanksgiving.

    “Fuck Thanksgiving.”

Love Walt Frazier’s call on Burke’s 3 to win it:

“Burke in space, in his face for the game winner”

    Classic Clyde

Nice win over the reeling Celtics. Worth it even though it hurts the tank

And when they tried to go small in the second Vonleh did a great job punishing them at the rim.

I can’t wait for Kyrie to leave the Celtics high and dry, for the Kings to sneak into the playoffs so Boston doesn’t steal another high lotto pick, and for Danny Ainge to look like a loser.

Can’t expect a flat earther to celebrate people sailing over the horizon!

The Memphis Grizzlies are 12-5 and in 1st place in the Western Conference.

    Who saw that coming?

Trey looked very Kemba-esque tonight. And Vonlah was really, really good as well. Loved the two threes from Knox in the fourth- both quick release catch and shoots. If he can just do that, get out on the break a bit and hit the boards he’ll be a useful player. And holy cow, Mitch made so many multiple effort plays- forcing the driver to pass and then still challenging the shot- just fantastic.

Kyrie’s part Native American through his mother apparently, which may or may not explain why he doesn’t celebrate Thanksgiving. Either way, hilarious anecdote.

Owen — you buried the lead in that story about Irving’s mother. His father is named DRed??

Boston. Red Sox. Patriots. Celtics. Bruins. Screw them all.

I long for Robinson, KP, and Frank to be on the court at the same time.

+1 to that too but I need to see Frank step up his offensive game.

This game was about Trae. He was G-league last season. He willed the win. That is a rare quality.

Knox played better but looks, at times, like he doesn’t know where he needs to be on the floor. He also didn’t hustle back on defense a couple of times leading to Celtic fast break points. But this was his 12th NBA game and he’s 19. I’ll judge him after 120 games.

I am excited because the team is on pace to get one of the elite draft picks, signing an all-star free agent and getting Porzingis back. The feeling is like the one I had with the Yankees when they were just giving Judge and Sanchez a sip of coffee in the bigs. Granted, the Yankees were not devoid of talent and were better than the Knicks are now, but the feeling is the same. I can see where this is heading. Clearing up some of the mistakes, improving in little ways as they mature, there should be hope for some of these youngsters. There’s a core of young players that are all like freshmen and sophomores in college. Let’s see judge them when they would be college seniors. I’m simply hopeful that some step up their game before the end of the season and establish themselves.
