Looking at the box score (I couldn’t watch the game), it’s not surprising that the four highest positive plus minuses on the Knicks are Dotson, Robinson, Ntilikina and Lee. They are the actual players on the Knicks who can defend. Many here have noted that the all defense set of starters played early in the season wasn’t so bad as we have been lately. It’s getting so obvious, and we have also had so many games like this one recently where we lose in the fourth quarter, that I am wondering if Fiz is really tanking, but in a way that is hard to point fingers at, and just saying let’s play the youngsters.

Hezonja was the only other plus player and he had a plus 1 in 30 minutes, so maybe he was defending ok. Can anyone comment on his performance tonight?

Cdiigy could be right also, that our players inexperience contributes to our losing.

Hezonja didn’t shoot well but he was aggressive attacking the rim. He had one really nice dunk and was surprisingly disruptive on defense

That makes all five people who were a plus instead of a minus ones who actually defend.

Hez also had a sweet steal off Wade, who thought it was 2009 out there instead of 2019 with his old self… lol.

If you remember the 90s like I do, you were probably just as bothered as I was hearing “let’s go Heat” chants. Straight blasphemy.
