I had to step away after the 3rd quarter..tremendously relieved that we pulled that one off…viva la tank!

I’ll wait next game and see if the game thread automatically posts. I’m glad to see the post-game thread!

Haha Bol Bol just hobbled past me in a walking cast and crutches

He’s tall enough, sign me up

Damn, I also turned off at the end of the 3rd thinking the Knicks were gonna win. The tank is alive and well!

Question: if the Knicks were going to sign one of Davis, Jokic, or Towns to a long term contract starting today, which one would you want it to be (all things equal salary wise, free agent status, desire to be in NY, etc…)?

It’s a really good question as I think those are all legitimate max players, but I guess I would go with Jokic, as I think he’s the more versatile player. Davis is probably better when he’s at his best because of his defense, but there’s still a bit of injury concerns, while Towns has been putting up insane numbers again and never misses games, but he’s just a little step behind the other two in my opinion. Jokic is a better offensive player and Davis is better defensively. But honestly, they’re all legitimate max players with multiple years of top level production ahead of them so it’s gotta be about some nitpicked stuff here and there to decide.

Jokic all the way. His passing highlight reels are already like 40
minutes long. I’d like to see the real in real time.

my favorite all time jokic play – the other night some young kid sitting courtside decides to stand up and poke westbrook in the elbow…

russ being russ (wound really really tightly) turned around and glared to see who touched him…

just so happens jokic was close by when this happened – jokic instinctively moved in between westbrook in the kid til he saw what russ was gonna do…

to his credit westbrook did a great job after the game voicing his concerns about the kid’s action…

gimme the joker all day…

I think peak AD is the best of all three, but I agree that Jokic is more likely to give you his peak than AD will give you his peak due to injury issues, so I’d take Jokic, too. I flove Towns, though.

There was a great question the other day that asked if you could pick any two NBA players under the age of 25 to start a team with, who would you pick? I noted that it should say “Who would you join with Giannis to start your team?” as no one would not pick Giannis as one of the two picks. But who would be the other guy? Jokic? Luka? Ben Simmons?

good question…I wanted to say luka, but, I like giannis with the ball in his hands…not sure how old embiid is, but, he’d be an interesting pair, except he might clog the middle a bit and get in giannis’ way going to the rim…

trying to think about who the best young efficient shooter there is out there right now…

all I can think of at the moment is buddy hield, but, I know he’s not the right answer…

the more I think about it, the more I really like how the bucks set up their roster to maximize giannis’ strengths…

I think I’d go Luka. They could play the inside out game beautifully.

I’d take Giannis and Jokic. They’d toy with teams with their passing and Jokic can step out and shoot threes to give Giannis some space.
