I’m pretty intrigued by the idea of a trade down with LA. Many or all of SGA, Walker, Troy Brown, Sexton, Knox, Williams and maybe Michael Bridges figure to be there. Two of those gives quite a high shot at making out we’ll from the draft.

But I doubt the offer will be there. LA apparently wants Porter. If he’s there at 9 we have to just take him ourselves, don’t we? Young is the only other guy who could fall to 9 and maybe be worth them trading for…

I think I would be in favor of trading down with LA if Trae fell to 9. The draft is such a crapshoot, it would be nice to take two upside guys instead of just one. And you could just slot Miles and Knox right into our pathetic lineup and at least have young guys at every position. I can’t watch Thomas play anymore, at least without some hope lol.

Yeah the problem with trading down is that the Clippers only do it if Trae or Porter are there. In that case I would just hang onto him.

I’d trade down either way, I think. I like Trae but I like Robert Williams, SGA, and Troy Brown just as much if not more, and I think if Porter is at 9 that indicates his injury is pretty serious and I want to stay away from that unless our medical team is bullish on him.

I don’t know if we should trust our medical team though. I don’t think the Clippers would give up their two picks just to move to 9. We’d probably would have to throw something else in.

If Porter is healthy someone will almost certainly take him before us because he was the number one HS player, he’s 6’10” and he can shoot and jump.

The Clippers need talent everywhere, with the possibility that DeAndre leaves, I can’t see them giving up 2 very good picks in a deep draft for a 3 position jump. If they had the 14th and 15th or something like that maybe, but to me it makes zero sense unless there’s a gigantic disparity in a specific player evaluation.

the clippers picks are ok but it depends on who is left at 9 and who we end up picking… if we r picking miles bridges we should trade out… if carter is there then its unlikely either pick will be better than him…

In a vacuum having the 11th and 12th picks is probably more valuable than having the 9th pick, but it depends on how the draft unfolds.

Haha, are they going to call that a flagrant? That’s a good foul on a large man.

    Edit: ok

The Rockets look like a Finals champion right now.

Very fresh take: KD is overrated

If Golden St loses this game nobody better ever again call them the greatest team ever.

Congrats to Chris Paul for finally leading his team to the nba finals

I feel like Durant is screwing up the Warriors more than helping right now.

If Harden wins this thing this year, he should demand to hold a press conference with every voter who left him off the All-NBA teams a couple years ago, only they have to sit at the microphones and answer questions about their limited capacity as evaluators of NBA talent.

If Golden St loses this game nobody better ever again call them the greatest team ever.

But they were one of the best teams ever from 2014-2017. Why would a disappointing end to this season nullify everything they accomplished during those years?

From Woj, “On the chances of a Chris Paul comeback with right hamstring injury for Game 7, source tells ESPN: “Less likely than likely, but working every angle to try.””

@11 Ah, that might be a little premature after losing game 6 by 29

Paul’s injury is so depressing. An incredible player, in what’s his best shot while he’s still good, struck low again.
