it’s been kind of cool this year without having a league pass…i actually look forward to watching the games which i can catch on tv this year…

this should be a competitive game tonight…

Yeah, this should be an interesting game. The Lebron-less Lakers are all over the place.

All I ask for tonight is good games from Frank and Kevin and a 1 point loss.

And honestly I kind of find myself rooting against Mudiay, because I don’t want anyone (namely our GM) to be fooled into thinking he’s actually a good PG.

The NBA should allow teams to be mercy killed at the half time, what the Bucks are doing to the Hawks should not be allowed.

KnicksFilmSchool guy did an interesting question on knowing what you know, contract aside, who would you rather have control over Knox or Ingraham.

PHX, and ATL getting murdered, Bulls dying a slow death. We could be on our way to a devastating win tonight.

The only players I root for are Frank/Knox/Trier/Mitch/Dot(besides his off court issues)/Kornet and Vonleh.

Everyone else I would turn off the channel if none of the former were on the court.

Ingram v Knox? I guess you’d take Knox because he’s younger and Ingram has sucked this year.

I’m not a big fan of Mudiay, but not a hater either. He’s exceeded my expectations by a pretty wide margin so far this year. Very few players improve in the b-ball IQ area, but he’s definitely improved in everything else. If he continues to improve and the price is right (meaning nothing above the QO), I wouldn’t mind keeping him around.

I’m fine with a 2 year deal for Mudiay. I just want them to have cap space for ’21.

At the very least, the Hawks look like they’ll get a lottery pick back for Doncic (not much solace, but it could be a whole lot worse).

Sometimes I forget that the Lakers drafted three #2 picks in a row and ended up with three guys who have no idea how to shoot. Imagine having LeBron James suddenly apparate onto your team and you get significantly worse in your third season. How does that happen?

5 straight 3-pointers from the Knicks. Didn’t know this was an impromptu 3point competition.

this is the game where our R.J. Barrett destiny further clarifies

Vonleh might yet turn into a pumpkin, but I love watching this dude fight in the paint. Puts his hands on the basketball like it owes him money.

Oh well, if you’re going to have an occasional win, this is at least a fun team to beat up on!

If anyone deserves a few games in the dungeon it’s Trier.
(edit) Big Blue Al beat me to it!

Seems like the Lakers have had an atrocious half, yet the Knicks are only up 4?

Mudiay is back to either getting blocked or missing every time he goes to the hoop.

Knox has been terrible overall this season, but if he keeps improving his 3 point shot and starts hitting free throws at a better clip, he’ll have a chance to be a very good offensive player. That’s not too much to ask given his age. he’ll also have to get stronger and better defensively. It’s a long path to actually being good, but at least he’s getting better.

I wonder if Mudiay and Frank are among the league leaders in getting their shots blocked at the rim (percentage wise)

Stratomatic "I'm tired of the Knicks paying lip service to DEFENSE. Get defenders & two-way players. Then play them!says:

That 1st quarter pattern with Knox seems to be happening so often it’s probably not just noise. It’s hard to imagine getting gassed that quickly, but maybe he should be playing way fewer consecutive minutes.

So no one wants to talk about Javale McGee sonning us and leading the Lakers’ comeback?

The Knicks really miss KP and/or Robinson in the paint.

This team is so hard to watch. They are so horrible on both sides. The only guys that don’t totally suck are Vonleh and Dotson and they are role players.

Dude. What game are you watching? It’s not like, knockout gorgeous, but this isn’t the worst ever. There are like, at least three worse Knicks teams in the last five years than this one.

    @52

I’m not looking at the score. The Lakers have been atrocious tonight but our players are so bad on both ends it was actually a game.

It’s literally difficult to look at our team and find a single player that I’d consider above average.

Ball and Ingram were positively Knick-sy tonight. Just some unbelievably poor decision making. Ingram is seriously looking like a bust and Ball has been a big disappointment thus far.

At least it was the Lakers. It’s fun to beat the Lakers! The Knicks can’t literally lose every game, ya know?

There was some nice passing, a few nifty moves on both sides of the ball. But sure, if you’re looking for above average players you’re going to have to go back to, what, 12-13? Chandler was above average that year, couple other guys. Smith, arguably. Not sure any Knicks player has been above average since then.

Melo was well above average in 12-13 and 13-14. It was all downhill from there though.

Frank sprained his ankle and was in a walking boot after the game according to the beat writers.
